Or we can use the term "yellow booking" (it might flow better)

Or call it "Skiptracing"/ Skip trace/Skiptrace because that is the technical definition of what we are doing, and it is a term that is already used by law enforcement, bail bondsmen, and private investigators around the world.

In a sentence, you would say: It was easy for me to skiptrace CWC because he gave his address out in a video. Or you could say: This tranny is skiptracing me because I called him a man in a dress. Or you could say; kiwi farms did a skip trace on me and found that I was a Canadian druggy tranny hiding out in Northern Ireland. I like this one because it's value-neutral. Some of the others (sunshining, exposing) carry an implication and it's the same thing leftists do when on their little crusades. If you're documenting, you're just collecting and presenting information.

The issue, though, is similar to how military classifications work. A single, unclassified piece of information is just that, not sensitive. Enough non-sensitive information collected in one place that can paint particular pictures can be classified. Here, especially since threads are adversarial to their subject, makes it tricky and is where the line blurs into REAL doxing.

"Hi-Ressing" or "Hireling" or to "HiRes" someone. The term needs to describe that we are :

1. Not revealing anything that isn't already there (available) - it is just "unseen"
2. It also needs to not have a connotation that it is intrusive; nor aggressive.
3. Must impart that this is focused and not a general demonization; or general target to a group, type of person etc.
4. The term must be unique so it can be isolated for searches and clarity.

Telescopes are used to see what is already there. They "resolve" They don't add or interpret. Therefore I recommend using the term "HiRessing" (high resolution) someone.

When we "HiRes" someone, we are merely putting into focus what is already there, without addition, implication or interpretation. Or "HiRessing" would mean the same things but we are merely bringing magnification to it.

Or perhaps just “resssing” someone would work too.

The thing is, I think plenty of people would agree that the exact address and place of abode isn't the primary factor to why they glean entertainment or fascination off a lolcow, and it is the primary wedge used against the site (besides troons crying). Proposing that it's more trouble than it's worth would on its face sound reasonable.

However.

Budging on this issue is as good as retroactively admitting complicity in what people (baselessly) claim the Kiwi Farms does. It isn't up for debate. The reasoning enemies of this place actually have isn't "butthole sunning is wrong," it's actually "it's only wrong if Kiwi Farms does it," and sipping from the poisoned chalice of short term convenience by apologizing for doing nothing wrong, will not solve any actual problems.
