Sorry deutsch-bros, I don't speak my mothers tongue.
I kinda knew who dragonlord was, but why'd his house get demo'd?

Is it the only way to destroy a dragon's lair?
He sold the house to the town and they want to stop the pilgrims once and for all, and for that, every sign of Rainer Winkler has to be eradicated... like when Germany lost WWII and all Swastikas were defaced.

he sold it to the municipality. idk if he was forced to or not, but it also kinda was part of the "deal" with court. and the municipality wants the house gone as fast as possible. There is also rumors, neighbours said to a local newspaper that there are rats and other vermin since Dragonlord let his house and garden rot. He didn't pay for the garbage service and so he stored his garbage in one of the buildings on the property. The municipality tries everything to stop people from coming to the village, everyone wants their peace.

afaik there is no buyer yet.

ah @WWE Champion hat auch geantwortet, sorry für das Reinlunzen.

Can't wait for Dankula's third installment of Drachenlord. Also
>Spending over 40k dollars on an oversized truck
Jesus, maybe he deserved to have that poor house that he fucked up put out of its misery.
you can't imagine how much he loves that truck. And he is really proud of it too. Tbh I don't know much about SUVs. I thought it looked like a car that someone in the US would drive - pickups are usually not common here. Which makes him stand out even more. You'd think he'd want to lay low after moving out and have some quiet time.

I think someone here mentioned it is the Diesel version. And since Dieselgate, you can imagine how people here think about Diesel cars. Also, prices are going up. I'd love to hear what Americans think of that his car choice - especially since he is so proud of it und thinks it's a great pickup.

There is so much vocabulary on this thread that does not appear in my copy of German for Reading Knowledge.
Dragonlord is incapable of speaking proper German so there are many made up words that are mocking his degeneration. You won't find them anywhere but you can just ask and we'll translate it to proper English.

Technically, it is not an SUV but a pick-up truck. And it is the 2.0 Diesel version indeed, which according to Wings of Redemption does not get sold in the USA. You find me asking him that on twitter like 2.5 months ago.

And the lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou covet the holy Merkava of Emskirchen . Then once coveted, count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of counting shall be three, neither count thou two, expecting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, thou shall lobbest thou thy holy Merkava of Emskirchen towards thy Haider, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it"

Ehhhhh the Ford Ranger is not as popular in the US. The only reason they brought the "new" Ranger to the US is because Ford wanted to compete with the Toyota Tacoma (North American Hilux) and it performs poorly in sales. The Toyota Tacoma, Ford Ranger, Chevrolet Colorado/GMC Canyon, and Nissan Frontier fall under the "mid-size pickup" category in the US and every year the Toyota dominates in overall sales and popularity. Really when you consider something the size of his Ford Ranger in the US, everyone goes with the Toyota Tacoma.

There are several made-up compounds in use in this thread that won’t get listed in a normal dictionary because they’re a blend of normal words.

Amikarre – Ami + Karre - American car
Winklerglück – Winkler + Glück - Winkler’s luck
Drachenschanze – Drachen + Schanze – dragon sconce
Ogergehege - Oger + Gehege - ogre pen

Then there are meme words that make fun of his dumb dialect, like "Meddl" for "metal", that also get used in compounding.

weggemeddlt - weg + gemeddlt - destroyed
neirendern- nei + rendern - to insert

German compounds can be quite fun to compile and use.

Owning that car in America would be a massive waste of diesel unless you absolutely need it for something like land scaping, or construction. Hell over here Diesel is about half of what you europoors are paying for it, so that last 10k is going to be pissed away pretty fast if he's fleeing from the fans.

Not to mention the resale value is going down like a stone if he's driving three thousand miles in one night.

It's not even a full size truck, its a midsize, and I'm surprised he can afford it with Germanys exceptionally wide and expensive array of vehicle and road taxes.

I checked statista and I am surprised to see Ford on 4th place. I had the impression that Ford isn't that popular in general. Don't know many people with a Ford and I don't see Ford cars often.

Imo it's also a waste in Germany. If he hadn't sold his house, he would barely use it. He'd drive to the closest supermarket and bring home tons of junk food, coca cola knock offs, and sweets. But without a home he just drives around. He has no family, no friends, nowhere to go and doesn't have to be anywhere. He even sleeps in his car.
He thought he could just drive to Italy to visit relatives he never met, never spoke to, he doesn't even know where they are. And they are probably made up just like his CV (he claims to have worked different jobs but his real CV got leaked ages ago and he actually did nothing but stand at a production line and look at shit or something.)

afaik it's used. He also dreams of owning a "Dodge Cobra". I guess Ford Ranger was his second choice.

Normally, someone getting their first truck would go with an F-150 or 250. A Ford Ranger on the other hand is if you want to say "I has truck, wee!", as it's nowhere near as strong as the F series Ford sells. For five grand more, he could have gotten an F-150, which would have a far better time carrying his fat ass and his junk around.

Not sure if he means Dodge Viper or Shelby Cobra, but he can't Afford either.

Ford has been selling the most popular truck in the US for like 20 years, along with a shit ton of HD trucks, Sports cars, crossovers, electric cars and now a mini truck. Sadly their old raghead ceo decided to kill off sedans. Bad idea

Gotta remember when people talk about automarkets, US/Can are all that really matter. Europe is slowly being pushed off the sales table for a variety of cars (like the new Nissan Z)

I don't question your truck knowledge, but since pick-up trucks are way less popular in densely populated central europe, I don't think he would have easily found a used F-150. Also he wanted a Ford Raptor, had to settle for a Ranger, because he owned it in Forza Horizon and one of his first cars or even hos first car was a Ford Mondeo.

Well that's regarding global market share. In the US the most popular vehicle sold is the Ford F-150 which is considered full size. Ford has always been known for trucks and not really for cars. The mustang is okay I guess but that's what they're known for. If you want something smaller than an F-150 then you go for the Toyota.

Dunno if I'd call the Mustang "ok" but I'm biased.

US sports cars, except for Dodge's newer trash, have been an absolute weapon ever since they climbed out the emissions crunch of the early 70s.

I'd definitely say I see more rangers than Tacomas, but that may just be my area.

I see more old rangers than old Tacomas, but that's a given since all the old Tacomas snapped in half

Fun fact: He just wanted that Ford pick up bc he was driving it in Forza games (racing video games). He also got a blue one in real life bc he had a blue one in Forza.

Fun fact 2: He once had a horse which was named "Blue". The German word for horse is "Pferd". If you mumble it sounds like "Ferd". Now you might see the similarity between "Ferd" and "Ford".
That's why we often call his new car "Ford Blue".

For the real life horse: Drachenlord abandoned it and neighbours had to take care of it until it died some years ago. Over all the years Drachenlord switched very often between denying ownership of the horse and claiming ownership.

Fun fact 3: In Forza he painted marks of "dead haters" which he would have run over with his car on his Ford. Like pilots did it in WW1/WW2 sometimes. Clearly that's some childish joking around...

... until he stated in a live stream in a serious tone that he plans to add such marks on his real life car. So much for the resale value.
