Every single bulletpoint is itself a red flag big enough to pick someone else... but the list in its entirety? Fuck me. Rainer is the exact opposite of anything a landlord is looking for.

And to top it all off, he needs a new place to live very, very soon. Finding a new home within half a year is hard, Rainer will need to find a place that will take him in about 2 months.

He's pretty much fucked for accommodation, I think he knows this, that's why he got the idea of his Shrek-Trek, tbh the best thing he could do (assuming his debtors or the tax guys don't just take his money first), is put that money from the sale of his house into buying an RV or some kind of mobile home and just keep moving round.
I'd hate to imagine that fat fucker trying to drive one of them though.
I'd say buy some land and just build a small house, and if he hadn't devalued his property he could have, but he's pretty much fucked.
No landlord will take him, he's going to need to buy himself, and I doubt he'll get a Mortgage.

The thing with the Shrek Trek is that in Germany, you need a fixed address for most (if not all) aspects of administrative stuff - if not just to receive mail. Technically, you can't even have an ID when you have no address - you merely get a special Hobo pass for identification, but those are next to useless. I'm not really that familiar with the effects of not having a fixed address, but afaik, it's pretty severe.
You can't just live on a camping site either, even if you stay in one place all the time.

He will need an apartment and the kind of place that will take him will be expensive, shitty and the neighborhood will make him look like an upstanding citizen.

What's his options as far as housing then, do you guys have like Section 8 housing there, I mean, Rainers a sped right?
If he's got little money after the sale wheres he gonna go?
You know it pisses me off, he had everything handed to him ifhe had kept his house tidy and not been such a faggot, we work our asses off (I did 60 hours last week including travel times lol) and he just sat at home failing at Vidya and gets paid for it.
I don't want to see him on the streets (no content lol) but he needs his ass kicking and to give his head a shake.

The sale is not attested by a notary yet, which I think does mean he could theoretically back out of it. I could have seen him doing just that if he somehow weaseled himself out of a jail sentence and got a second probation just because selling the house is enough evidence he's actually trying to change his life.

A Drachenlord hobo saga is not completely unlikely, the Finanzamt is likely going to want a big chunk of the money from the house sale because he didn't pay any taxes in the last 3 years (if you don't want to believe that his tax declaration was just lost by the mailman three years in a row, lol) and while Germany has a good enough social safety net that he *should* get a cockroach-infested apartment in some public housing project paid for by the state, if no one bothers to help him apply for it he won't do it himself. The world outside the Drachenschanze is a kafkaesque nightmare for him. He waits for his lawyer to contact him for the appeal trial, he waits for the tax office ot contact him for his taxes, he basically always waits for people to do things for him because he's too stupid, lazy and willfully naive to do it himself.

No matter what, things are gonna get real interesting, you picked a good time to join the Drachengame

I swear to god, if they ask to have the sentence increased past the original 2.5 years based on his continued libel against the cops after the trial, I am going to piss myself.
I don't even know if they can do that, but sky's the limit.

For those who id not get this: Part of why Rainer "only" got 2 years and the DA only asked for 2.5 years was that Rainer said he was sorry and he stated he will not provoke anymore. First thing he did the next day was publicly call his accusers "jokes", provoke more and illegally stream (actually illegal, not DSP illegal) his CCTV which film public property. So there is imho a high chance that in his next court, DA and judge will be way less lenient and his prison time gets increased.

Wie die meisten hier hab ich mit Berufung gerechnet, aber nicht von der Staatsanwaltschaft. :story:

Damit habe ich ehrlich gesagt gerechnet nach dem ich gesehen habe, was er am Freitag rausgelassen hat.

Tbh, I find this a bit excessive on the proscecution's part.
He got sentenced to 2 years in prison.
The proscecution wanted 2 years and 6 months.

An appeal for only 6 months more smells more like a PR move to me.
Now everything need to be rolled up again, witnesses have to travel to the court again and police has to be summoned to protect the court.
Everything just for the prospect of just 6 months more seems a little excessive.

I am 95% sure they only did it because of Rainer himself and what he said in his first video and stream after the court day, and also how he reacted this whole weekend. He basically shat on his apologies and just everything he said he won't do again.Imho he gave the DA almost no other choice unless they want to look like clowns who got lied to once again by a special eds kid without a degree and let him get away with it. I think if Rainer had shut his mouth, said he won't talk about it for legal reasons and just moved on, they wouldn't have done anything.

Absolutely, which is why I didn't expect them to appeal. Since it's possible to bring new evidence after an appeal, I wonder if the prosecution can also increase the punishment that they originally demanded based on said new evidence.

Rainer publically stated that he rejects responsibility, that he rejects the notion of having done anything wrong and he made it clear that any apology was completely insincere and just there to impress the court.
To the contrary, he even repeated some of the offenses he was punished for (ie: insulting the cops). Fuck me, there's still plenty of time for him to assault someone, just for good measure.
If they are limited to demanding the additional 6 months that they originally asked for, then nothing prevents them from bringing this newest offense to the court and dunk on the Dragentard once more.

Good lord, I totally forgot about that. Depending on how seriously they take that statement, they might throw him in jail right after the verdict next time. After all, he voiced his intention to evade punishment online and in the original trial last week, he stated that he wants to just roam Germany and he'll be out of his Schanze by January. They can legitimately claim that they need to put him in a cell directly, or else he goes into hiding.

Actually, german courts don't have to follow what the prosecution wants. They can go up higher, if they want to. This rarely happens, but it happens nevertheless.

I can see that being the case.
Only thing I'm not sure about is if it even matters what Rainer has said after the first verdict.
I'm not sure if any evidence which is collected after the verdict would even count for an appeal.

Keine Ahnung ob im Berufungsverfahren überhaupt Beweise und Aussagen bestand haben die nach der Verurteilung getätigt wurden.
Wird bei der Berufung nicht einfach nur alles vorige nochmal aufgerollt?
