Funnily enough, the Mirror can't change your gender. That's hard-coded at character creation.

BioWare games are notorious for your PC looking good in character creation only to turn to dogshit the second you're in the game world with all of its camera angles and lighting, so an option to take a mulligan on your looks was actually pretty welcome. So far as I am aware, this stuff about rewriting your past appears nowhere in the game.

If I remember correctly -- and I might not; it's been a while since I did an Inquisition run -- Krem actually demurs because those sorts of transformations are the province of blood magic, which in retrospect would be fucking hilarious.

I’d decided to subject myself to this monstrosity when it first was announced, but boy is this going to be a painful game to play. I just finished a pretty thorough playthrough of Inquisition after not having played it in 5-6 years, and it was a slog. I can’t believe I 100%ed it before, and the only solace I take in the playthrough is that it atleast had a semblance of a story trying to be told. I’m not holding out any hope for veilguard, but let me know if any of you think I should use the Null approach and play as the biggest and burliest non-passing black tranny in a blonde wig that I can make.
