DSP failing to understand how the Shadowcurse works this far into Act 2 is hilarious. He keeps wiping his party by abandoning them outside of the Moonlantern.

Should've done the good route, piggy! Then you wouldn't need the lantern!

Also he keeps leaving turn-based mode and getting his party killed, not understanding that turn-based mode automatically turns on when someone is stranded in the Shadowcurse.

Just for anyone who hasn't played a game, it isn't even like...a puzzle or anything. The basic mechanic is if you're in a dark area, you start taking damage. To prevent you from just getting killed in a few seconds, the game is nice and automatically enters turn based mode, so you typically only take a tiny bit of damage and can safely move your party back into the light. That's it. There's one or two encounters where you'll fight things that try and take advantage of this by moving your party/stopping them from moving, but it sounds like Phil is just dying to walking around.

I am shocked the dents didn't tell him aboutthe pixie. It completely trivializes that map mechanic

So is this going to be a hundred hour playthrough?

I know Phil is smoothbrain when presented with multiple choices, but after 40 hours in the game he should have gotten minor concepts about combat, etc down.

This motherfucker needs to start taking gingko biloba and lay off the booze.

I was wondering about that myself. It's possible he doesn't know how to interact with his items and was too thick for handholding, or he's genuinely that confused about the shadowcurse mechanics and didn't understand what the dents were saying.

A thanks for the money dummy wheelchair handholder may have already paid to tell him the solution, but Phil gave up on the tip message 3/5ths or whatever into it and did the, "that's way too far ahead you need to tell me when that's relevant," thanks for the money thing and now he's too addled to recall he waved it away all those streams of this game ago.

I hope we get a full playthrough out of this, after having played through the game numerous times myself watching Phil blunder through every single interaction and combat encounter makes me feel like a 200 IQ savant.
It's honestly astounding how dumb this pigger is. 15 years playing vidya professionally and he's stumped by babby's first cRPG. He's played this game for what? 50 hours now? Yet he still doesn't know even the barest of the barebone basics of the game's mechanics. He cries about the game "introducing" new mechanics in every encounter when it's just the same mechanic introduced before just in different packaging. A floor full of oil can be set on fire to damage everyone standing in it? A floor that's wet with water can be electrocuted to damage everyone standing in it? To Phail those are separate mechanics that you need to deeply study in order to understand them. Same with different saving throws. A saving throw based on strength and one based on constitution are two completely different game mechanics to him. I can't stress this enough but this game is based on 5e of DnD, which was tailor made so that even the lowest common denominator can get into it. What does that say about Phail and his complete lack of intelligence? He makes the average crack-slingin' Tyrone seem like a MENSA candidate.

Stumbled upon what may be the only female dwarf with facial hair in the entirety of BG3 (From what I have seen) Phil most certainly be honoured to know they put his likeness into his favourite game.

That and they’re all 6 hours fucking long.

If any TIHYDP detractors are reading this can you please slim that shit down to like an hour or two tops? God damn. 🎩🎩🎩
6 hours long

they don't cut out the begments

they don't censor dent names / donations

practically zero editing

You might as well watch his streams at that point.
