DuckDuckGo has blocked Kiwi Farms

K, I've done a bit more digging.

I searched queries like 'kiwi farms' and 'site:kiwifarms.net', and experemented slightly with other keywords to compare them with the Bing results that Oath/Yahoo is using.

Qwant and AOL return nothing from the KiwiFarms.net domain, which is the same result as Bing/Yahoo.

DuckDuckGo, on the other hand, does return results for kiwifarms.net if you include the site: parameter in the search terms.

I assume this is because including that parameter causes DDG to use a non-Bing search engine in the backend. People who are still seeing Kiwifarms.net results on DDG without the site: or other parameters may be being given results from other non-Bing search engines because of their region, or be seeing cached results retrieved from the backend engines at an earlier date.

Ask.com (formerly Ask Jeeves)- seems to still be returning KiwiFarms.net results, so I'm not sure what gives with those reporting otherwise.
The search results suck in general though, and if they do use services from Bing or Oath services that use Bing, then they may simply be caching old results from a long time ago to keep costs down, and coincidentally be returning results from prior to the exclusion for that reason.

The root cause definitely seems to be Bing. I assume they know who the culprit is behind this.

EDIT- 31/August: Bing is now returning kiwifarms.net search results, and as a result, Yahoo/Oath and all the downstream search engines are now as well where they were not previously:

every corporation has to have a manufactured statement on diversity and inclusion. that in itself isn't surprising
When I was going to school, they plastered that motherfucker everywhere. Class syllabi? Notice of quiet hours? Food pyramid/that thing they replaced the pyramid with in the dining halls? Diversity and inclusion notice!

I have no issue with diversity or inclusion tbh but is anyone looking at the notice of quiet hours thinking "I wonder if this place is an equal opportunity employer"?

The 90s and early 2000s were a magical time, we all believed that everyone in America could just get along no matter our politics, race or gender and "tolerance" was the word everyone pushed around. I suppose it was always a facade, though.

To me it feels like much of that era was fueled by optimism for the future.

Then it finally came and man was that shit some false advertising. But hey, free 2 day shipping.

I miss the 2000s. It was much easier to get along with people, make shitty jokes and watch quality content on the TV that didn't try to explicitly preach at you.

Then it's like a switch flipped in the brains of the decisionmakers and they decided we must become stupid or we must go.

Hmm, something's going on at Bing. Whether it's due to SJW nonsense, the E3/ESA leaks, or someone at Bing with a grudge is anyone's guess.

The fact that Bing delisted us bothers me a lot more than anything related to DDG, since Bing is probably the second biggest search engine after Google in the United States, and apparently DDG, Yahoo, and AOL get their search results mostly by piggybacking off of Bing.

Now, if Google de-lists us, then we'll have confirmation that it's SocJus related and just how fucked we might be.

I'm just saying don't get cozy with it, they're not the good guys, they're just the lesser of two evils
There are no good guys. We should start basic our online decisions on who would we rather have spying on us.

And boy, the movies that came out during that period were pure gold.

so whats an alternative? already dropped everything but pale moon and DDG, now you're saying they are shit too?
Google for mainstream and result crawling, Yandex for wrongthink and pirating.
Never understood why people liked DDG. always had the weakest and worst points from both yandex and google imo.

Oath, the search engine powering Yahoo!, AOL, DuckDuckGo, Qwant, and more has de-indexed Kiwi Farms

From my limited research, Oath was a fusion of Yahoo and AOL after being purchased by Verizon. Oath is the O in SEO, and we're seeing what everyone knows, that SEO is anything but organic. A synthetic mechanism of thought-control ideology underneath a thin veneer of statistics. Possibly funded by the Rothschilds or some other Jewish elitists.

Verizon is controlled by Vanguard (319.74M) and Blackrock (317.04M), but it's a shell game, because it looks like this:

Verizon is owned by:
319.74M Vanguard
317.04M Blackrock
161.47M State Street Corporation
119.77M Wellington Management Company
61.97M Capital World Investors^
57.72M Geode Capital Management
57.01M Bank of America Corporation

Blackrock is owned by PNC Financial Services and Vanguard.
PNC Financial is owned by Vanguard, Wellington Management Company, and Blackrock.
State Street Corporation is owned by BlackRock and Vanguard. So it's basically controlled by Vanguard.
Wellington Management Company is owned by Vanguard.
The Vanguard portfolio owns itself.

This is an oversimplification, but your enemy likely is the Vanguard. Vanguard is owned by SiriusXM, Starbucks, Charles Schwab, ConocoPhillips, PayPal, Micron.

This is just the tip of the iceberg that I, can see. Knowing that most investors follow the "admiral" then we see that Vanguard is in control. But who's pulling the strings at Vanguard? How many shares of Vanguard are admiral quality?

If you ever used CuckCuckBlow you are a fucking retard and you should kill yourself. How did you ever tolerate such shitty search results?

Make your excuses, you idiots! PROTIP: you don't have any, you're just a moron!

FWIW, "SEO" stands for "Search Engine Optimization" and it's what Webmasters do to try to get more noticed by search engines, not anything that search engines themselves do; also, those who recommend Startpage should realize that it gets its results from Google but just doesn't track you, in case they hate Google for some other reason (also, the company behind Startpage, formerly known as Ixquick, once ran its own meta-search engine under that name at the same time as its Google-derived Startpage, but redirected it to Startpage over a year ago).
The hosts file makes a come back, holy shit
That only protects against the loss of the domain name itself (just the domain name, while the actual Web hosting, with a reachable IP address, is still needed); it does nothing against de-indexing from search engines.
