Good question. When Tyce was asked his thoughts on recent events he was dismissive of Jace. There might be some unknown communication between the two but I suspect Jace is just more confused than usual.

Just seeing the videos, I can't imagine what kind of hell that poor woman is going through. This is her child, he is now an adult and a former marine, and she obviously can't stop him from doing harm to himself or to others.

I heard that the story centres around a female developer receiving death threats, but later on, the detectives discover that the majority of the threats were created as a ploy from the female developer in order to attain more money from a Patreon account and in fact were not threats at all, merely being some rather harsh criticism about her shitty game.
