E3 (but not really) 2022

Aren't the backers of kickstarter projects technically the investers that these developers have to please?

Didn't anybody make a big stink about why the fuck it took 5 years, or were their updates by the devs as to why it was taking so long?
They completely restarted development halfway since then because they were trying to modernize the game but I assume they fucked up and couldn't make it work. Last time they gave a release window was Summer 2022 but that's out the window I assume

As for the investor part, I believe that's not the case because it was established that you're simply pre-ordering, unlike a platform like fig where they straight up say you're investing. They are required to provide what they said they were selling based on your tier or refund your money.

No, there's no legal recourse for you so you're not an investor. That's why these faggots love this shit. You're not even a customer where the FTC would give you some recourse you're this hybrid thing that's owed nothing.

"You can fully explore all the planets in this system and in 100 other systems". Fuck off Todd, you can't lie to me like that. Try being more realistic and I'll believe you.
He expects you to believe that his shit gamebryo engine Frankenstein hybrid that's been patched all the way from Morrowind that can't even have 20 npcs battle it out without crashing or call 3 empty houses and 1 with an NPC in it a town.... is going to house galaxies' worth of content.

inb4 "game engines being old doesn't mean they're bad! Source 2 is still based on idTech 2, UE5 is still an evolution of UE, and RAGE powered both Table Tennis in 2006 and RDR II in 2018!!" Yeah, but Beth is nowhere near that competent. They've never actually sat down to improve their engine beyond basic aesthetics. Why do you think they still can't climb ladders and have shittastic draw distances made for 6th gen hardware, that when pushed to draw more cells craps out and crashes?

So what are tomorrow’s offerings? Capcom and the hope that Nintendo gives a date for their direct? Thank god for alcohol. Christ almighty these have sucked so far.

At least Microsoft is showing games this time instead of announcements flexing on the rest of the industry over how many studios they've managed to buy and rubbing it in people's faces.

They attempted to modernize the game, but it ended them losing Rob Waters and people who worked on the original System Shock. They had to beg for them to come back and restarting development was the only way to get them. As for the release, the backerkit and kickstarter patrons had payments processed a few days ago, meaning they’re ready to ship out the game very soon.

How is Nintendo going to save this year? By finally revealing the actual name of BOTW2? Mario and Rabbids 2? lmfao
I love Nintendo and I genuinely have no clue what they could announce first party wise. They've already laid all their cards on the table and all we can do is wait. Best i can imagine is a surprise pikmin 4 announcement.
