Valve has made their own little showcase? on Steam called Next Fest. All of the games listed on it are upcoming titles and have playable demos. I can say that this game looks pretty interesting. It's like Car Mechanic Simulator but for guns. It's the same publisher anyway.

Thanks for posting this. I came across a neat little modern tank sim called Gunner, Heat, PC. It's a little janky but pretty fun.

Yes, it is. Been following the guy for a while. It started as a joke indie game based on those creepy thomas animations when they were popular, and grew from there. I don't see the problem. I guess if you're just hearing about it now it might seem late or out of touch.

This is another I've been following somewhat. The developer showed off some early tests then he disappeared. Good to see the game coming together.

how many farming sims are they going to have? I swear every other game is just a farming sim. I can just play the original harvest moon for free on a emulator if i wanted one that badly why would i ever play the newer ones?

Because indie hacks are just the same as AAA publishers. "Stardew Valley is popular? They've cracked the code! The secret was to make a farming simulator!" and then we get spammed with shitty farming simulators. When the genre collapses, we'll get "think pieces" blaming the saturation of steam games or the importance of advertising, and not the fact they made a generic clone of another game.

It seemed easier to search for "Marissa Marcel" than the generic word "Immortality" to find a page about the game. Turns out it's a real actress!
