Elden Ring

I was hoping for something different. I can’t really explain what I wanted because I don’t know for sure. Maybe it’s the art style that’s not so appealing to me.
It looks ok, I am willing to give it a try when it comes out since bloodborne is the only game from them that was my favorite game on the ps4

Open world gives the opportunity for more bugs.

Embrace it, because we may get lucky and have one that outdoes the DES Remake one where you can cause millions of damage in a single hit.

Literally the only upcoming game I'm excited for, please don't fail me fromsoft *sigh*

Is this the part of the release cycle where people with wildly overblown expectations start feeling down on the game?

Anyway, it looks good to me. Feels like they're trying to combine every idea they've ever had in a single game and riding around on the goat-horse looks fun as fuck.

As I said in the Souls thread, I'm never gonna plat DS3 and it's kind of tickling my autism. Fuck grinding for all that covenant shit offline though, 40% for the last couple of trophies? No fucking way. Otoh I've plat every other FS game.

They better not pull any of that offline grinding bullshit with Elden Ring

I'm really looking forward to it but I hope they're smart enough to not just keep making these games harder and harder, Sekiro was about as hard as I can handle, looking back I don't even know how I managed to actually beat it, anything harder than that and I'm probably shit out of luck.

However maybe having more options than Sekiro will make it a little more manageable, I just really think DS1 has the best difficulty, hard enough to keep you on your toes but in a fun way that is rarely frustrating.

Man this game is going to have more photo related mishaps than a bus filled with Chinese tourists.

That pic is so comfy

The thirst for the game is real, that's for sure: 2 years of spergs chimping on the web at every rumor and scrap of information payed off

Also, isn't refreshing that ER is treated by it's creators as a....You know a game, instead of some kind of political statement or personal ego-fueled wankery?

Dude WTF this is the series that spawned "git gud".

Really glad they aren't trying to reinvent the wheel and shooting themselves in the foot because of it. I just hope it plays as good as it looks. Crafting can fuck off though.

In Elden Ring you will fight ten Gargoyles with only five sips of Estus.
