I was about 60 so I wouldn't say so. I'm a faith build though and a consistent problem I have is that I can't cast incantations in a timely manner with all these fast, methed up bosses. So I hate to beat him with a stick and it took me like 8-10 hits.
So does that mean you had an easy time or a fuck-off impossible one with the worst designed enemy/boss in the entire game (so far): Royal Revenant? I have no idea what FROM was thinking with this disaster of an RNG fight. Everything people complain about post-BB enemy designs is present in this fucker, including a gimmick to kick his ass.

Does anyone on the PC have any advice for how to rebind or what to rebind crouch to that isn't a thumbstick-press on an 360 controller because the amount of times I've been in a tense fight on the horse and accidentally mashed downwards and rocketed myself off is more than I want to count.

Search the north part of the lake in Limgrave. Mines are a big source of stones in every area.

Also everyone please enjoy some western developer salt.

Top: user experience designer who worked on Battlefield (the new bad one) and with Ubisoft
Center: Former Telltale games designer
Bottom: Quest Designer for those Horizon games

Irony is a lost art.
When I think good UX, I think modern Ubisoft and EA. Also think of those along with Horizon Zero Dawn when I think of good PC performance.

Yeah but I had to quit out haha.

He is exactly what I mean when I say this game isn't very friendly towards slow casting faith builds.

Fextralife is more annoying than any Soulsborne enemies, I want to look shit up and these pieces of shit hog the first few entries on google and provide ZERO information on what I'm looking for.

Fextralife dominating SEO rankings makes me wish Wikidot wasnt dead, its still one of the best wikis for Demon and Dark Souls 1 while Fextra for fucking anything is complete and utter garbage

It was shit back when 2 released and its still shit now

So I finally got around to Margit the other day after avoiding it because I was nervous about getting curbstomped too much and it took a few tries but I smoked him with the spirit jellyfish and rock sling. Stormveil itself is beating my ass like a drum but that’s my own fault for panicking.

Speaking of panic, I accidentally killed Patches and I feel kinda bad about it 💀 Am I going to miss out on a lot because of it?

Yeah but I also hate that they got into everything else like Monster Hunter and the Japanese sites get pushed to the bottom which actually have the part % info and locations.

Did anyone else find Rennala hilariously easy? Yeah I was around level 60, but for a demigod she’s really weak.
I beat Rennala at a level where it still took a few tries, but when I found out that Demihuman Ashes are the early-mid game's easy mode, she went down before she could launch a second shot.

On my second play through as INT maining Dark Moon Greatsword. Just made it to haligtree, it’s amazing how smooth this run as been (besides Radahn).

Int scaling on the GS feels great and the weapon art just destroys bosses. So much easier then my flail strength/faith run. Combining with the moon spell + weapon art is melting everything.

I am looking for the laserbeam spell from the trailer, does anyone know what it’s called?

is Kiranico shit now?, back in the 4th gen days i used it and it gave me decent info for the most part

They redid the format and it looks like some kind of concept designer site because they have these rail thin or tiny fonts and other bullshit on a white background.

I mean it works, but it's not as readable as it was before.

Just finished NG+ to get the bad ending to round out the last achievement, ended up just respecing pure physical for the end, faith sucks.

Overall, I thought the game was fantastic, though as usual or me with open world games I tend to lose the will to explore as the game goes on. I started mostly just running past enemies straight to the boss rooms. Crafting seems mostly pointless (which is good), I only really ever used it to craft arrows and a few pots.

My least favorite bosses were Radahn, Malenia, and Commander Niall. My favorites were Astel and Placidusax.

Theres a lot of lore to every Dark Souls game, but you often need to piece it together from environmental scenery and subtext in character interactions; also make sure to read the description of every item like weapons, armors and key items, thats where the majority of the lore is.

My favorite bit of lore in the game is on the Nomadic Merchant's set, which reveals the merchants you've met all throughout the game belong to a race that gained way too much power through trade and were mostly genocided, with the last of their culture being buried in an underground prison to die. They then proceeded to summon the Frenzied Flame into the world to return everything to primordial chaos. When you first speak to Kale at the little church at the start of the game, his comments about the land being "tainted by madness" and how his people are "deeply unforgiving to any that harm his kind" become extremely ominous after you learn this. Oy vey, Tarnished.

I keep hearing that that scythe is really good, to the point that I’m considering respeccing to be more faith-forward than my current strength/faith build. Any chance you can confirm? I’m ambivalent about the tree sentinel halberd I’m using now.
Double Scythe seems the way to go and over come some of the negatives to the Wing Scythe.
