A friend of mine sperged over the possibility of something like a Scholar of the first sin edition (which kinda fucked up enemy placement of ds2 most of the time), which would add black phantom enemies during next cycle, while also mentioning character tendency and why the portal in consecrated snowfield is stupid in his opinion and should need a different design.
I just hope they make ng+ harder and more replayable, which is probably one of the few things DS2 nailed (if you don't count the lost sinner)
 
I know I keep harping on the same channel but jesus christ, the new VaatiVidya video titled "20 Secrets in Elden Ring, Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro and Demon's Souls!" does not seem to include any secret. It really is reaching Matpat level of using words incorrectly. I actually decided to go one by one to see if something quantify:

It is also completely filled with shout outs to other youtubers which is incestuous as hell.

I honestly think he's just overcompensating for when years ago people called him out for just stealing shit from anybody and never giving credit. Basically, I rather he actually gave dues than just act like if he came up with it.

Buy yeah, the last video was a lot of meh.

As for the DLC, It will be out when it's out.

And we like that.
 
Got seamless co-op and randomizer working together with a friend.

What a blast. Its so refreshing after playing through the game multiple times to get surprised by what happens next. Our first boss in the starter dungeon in Limgrave was the Falling star beast. Fighting that thing in a cramped room with randomized shit weapons was hard but we got it after a handful of attempts. Spent the next few hours wandering around before going to Margit. He was randomized into Renalla who we butchered while cackling like maniacs. I had found the Astel sword and its special destroyed the adds. Very excited for the next session, I love this game.

I followed this guys instructions, it was pretty easy to do so I recommend if you have a friend, just grab them and try it out!

 
I already played with the randomizer, it's indeed incredibly fun. And it crashed just a half-dozen times, the mod is very robust.

The co-op mod on the other hand I never tried, because I'm still maidenless and friendless.
 
Did Elden Beast get nerfed in one of the recent patches? I picked this up again in anticipation of DLC and I noticed it has pseudo stages now. At launch as soon as the fight transitioned from Radagon EB would start spamming with long range projectile holy magic. This time it used almost exclusively melee until around 40% health and then it transitioned into using holy magic.

I mean, I'm not exactly complaining. The elden stars spam at launch was absolutely ridiculous.
 
It’s a good thing I finished the game before the patches. No pussy souls for me.

Because he'll sit through a bunch of Reddit posts, sow them all together into one script, and then through nice video editing and narration together. Easy to consume, don't have to look at Reddit.

They changed Elden Beast back in march or april. It's an ancient patch.

They never touched him again.

A lot of Youtube careers were made by basically filtering the existence of Reddit itself into just the more interesting posts.
