I like the sound design to be honest. Weird/unique sound design will usually get me interested in a track.maybe the title sort of hinders already with my opinion, but this shit literally sounds like water.

Sharks & Chime - Water Elemental
holy fuck this is diiiirty! i'd have to blast this on my speakers tomorrow morning with the bass turned up for sure.Related to that point (though I suspect most won't care for it):
ehhh... the first one is on a thin line, but at least it has a dancey/techno-ish rhythm to it in some parts.Does industrial metal count?
How about electronic rock?
Here's a similar recommendation then. When it comes to that type of music (neurohop? experimental? IDK) Dream Recall is the GOATholy fuck this is diiiirty! i'd have to blast this on my speakers tomorrow morning with the bass turned up for sure.
with everything being looped in with "IDM", i guess it's only safe to consider it experimental. i'm sure there should be an actual genre name for this kind of stuff somehow. if it were up to me, i'd probably call it Deep Neurodub or something like that. Here's a similar recommendation then. It's really difficult to find shit like this. As far as I can tell, Upscale is the only label that focuses on experimental neuro type stuff, but they don't release shit as often as other labels. I think a lot of it is how hard/tedious it is to make for what is essentially a very niche genre.
Do you listen to Shpongle? Because if you’re into weird sound design they’ll probably be right up your alley:I like the sound design to be honest. Weird/unique sound design will usually get me interested in a track.
