I remember they got to positive cash flow pretty quick. Adding Cell should only increase revenue with time.Starlink is cool and all, but it's far too expensive for the average family or person even. As someone who's struggled with rural Internet, 1MB/s peak speeds for a long time, 5G home Internet is going to be the future for those communities I believe. $50 a month straight up no bullshit or equipment costs. Starlink needs to drastically reduce its price per month or it won't expand into these larger markets where people literally have no options for Internet. You would be surprised the areas in the US that aren't middle of nowhere, but don't have good Internet options or any at all. You may get one option, and it goes out frequently or they want to charge you to rip up ground to install wire first.
The problem with SpaceX financials is it's a private company so it's all estimates. But hopefully as bandwidth supply goes up, costs will immortalize and so on to lower end user prices. There's quite a lot of of commercial market available for air and sea traffic still untapped. I hope it does well long term. The main problem I foresee is upkeep costs because the sats have a limited lifespan. It'll depend mostly on how well they can or even if they can get Starship going it seems in the next 2-3 years. It'll be interesting to see.
Of the big 3 Elon businesses, I'm not worried much about SpaceX or X even. It's Tesla that seems pretty unstable long term.
