Do most Germans take their mainstream media seriously? It seems we in the US overwhelmingly no longer believe the “news”.
German media seems directly and openly state and tax funded, which would make it seem more dubious. Some of the cows I’ve been following seem to be tangentially working for major networks, despite pushing “truther” stories on various accounts— as if the state itself is trying to deliberately distract and divide the “dissidents” and anti-vaxxer/anti-migrant types on purpose. Recently I’ve noticed them flip from staunchly anti-Muslim to anti-Israel and pro-Palestine… and it’s almost as if they’re trying to cause ideological whiplash among the “alternative news” followers. Then they also seem to push “natural law” and “abolish the state!” “Stop voting!” “Eat vegan!”… which would ironically be very convenient for those government officials who want those same “dissident” Germans to be corralled into 15 minute cities.

It reminds me of how Alex Jones started flirting with Blair White and praised Elon’s brain chips as soon as Musk started helping fund Jones and boost his influence. The “callers” that call into Alex Jones’ rumble show seem exactly like those “Dittmann” bots— the cohosts of Jones‘ shows will just reply to these (oddly eloquent bots for random talk show callers) with “hmm-mm”, “yeah!”… as if the conversations are one way dialogues with what seem to be fake callers. These “random callers” remind me of the bots and accounts that seem to boost Musk’s favorite influencers on Twitter … fake army experience, fake looking photos, impressive resumes, always “pro tech optimist!”, pro-AI, pro-transhumanist, socially conservative, pro-Musk.
I wouldn’t be shocked at all if Musk and his associates were funding German influencers to help control the “alt right” agenda and to control their talking points. Many of their alt right influencers have also dealt with years of deplatforming and cancellation due to Covid-criticism, just like the US alt-right influencers, so they’re probably desperate enough to take money from anyone.

An example… Watch Alex Jones’s rumble shows where they take “random callers from X”, you’ll see what I’m talking about. Articulate so-called “random” callers, who push all the Musk-approved talking points, with fake looking “too perfect” profiles and who seem to provide one-direction discussions with the show hosts. Most REAL radio show callers, at least a large percentage of them, are kooks and/or mumble, not articulate, not well spoken, they say “um”, etc…. the show hosts will cut off these awkward callers and move onto the next caller. These “X callers” are too articulate and the show hosts never interrupt these “X callers”.. they strike me as fake accounts/chat bots that are fed a pre-recorded message, and are also programmed to respond in a certain way to questions and comments when prompted.

People usually have a tough time playing much simpler games in such a difference than a more complex game with thousands of data points to be fed per sec.

• If no, why did he not bother to even attempt masking his voice in Spaces?
