Encounters With SJWs/Tumblristas Offline or In Unusual Communities

A feminist chick once at my class threw hot British tea on me for "being a Nazi, cis scumbag"

Her reason: I was wearing a shirt with the German state flag on it (AKA the war flag) and I refused to take it off when she said it was making her uncomfortable.

She got suspended for 3 weeks, and I got treated for burns at the hospital, pressed charges... And she got a year probation.

She dropped out after the 4chan/Tumblr fiasco as according to her "it mentally scared her"

I'm assuming it's the modern one:

I know a trans girl who is very obviously into Tumblr. She relished taking a particular social studies course because it dealt with social issues (for all of one unit), and she'll often mention several things that make her sound like a grade-A Tumblrina (like Scott Pilgrim being racist and sexist, calling her parents "male/female parental units", and using one of those ridiculously long LGBT acronyms).

Also she will not shut the fuck up about John Cena.

I think I know where Jace disappeared to...

Knew some girl who was a casual friend until I disagreed with her about Homestuck and her yaoitard shipping crap. Then she told me she only befriended me because I was a pathetic cis person and I needed a true queer friend to call out my problematic behavior and educate me for my own good.

I ran. I ran so far away.

Wow. Such a lovely personality. I'm glad you got away from a toxic person before getting in too deep.

So she asked you to undress, and when you refused, she assaulted you.

That's rape.

Oh man, at community college, I had a World Religion's class, and one of the female students had short died hair, wore leather, etc. and was the stereotypical, angry pagan. She loved finding ways to announce that she was pagan, and she went off on a guy who asked her about, The Satanic Bible. She clearly enjoyed the rage, which is funny because although I don't know much about pagan/wicca, I do know they are usually peaceful, and earthy.

In college you typically have two kinds of pagans: those who get into it because it's new and different and speaks to them in a way more popular religions don't... and those who do it to freak out mom and dad. Looks like you had one of the latter.

I haven't encountered any tumblrina types IRL yet. Then again, I figure they're a minority, especially outside of college campuses.

I've been fortunate that I haven't met any really nasty militant types; I've met people who seem decent enough but they also buy into this sort of thing, and for the most part I just nod politely and prefer not to challenge them.

I figure that the road to unlearning a lot of SJW stuff is a road that they must walk on their own.
