A Florida judge has ruled draconian restrictions that have eliminated 80% of trans adult providers are likely constitutional.
This follows an 11th Circuit ruling using the Dobbs abortion decision to justify trans bans.
More adult bans could come.

The latest case has illustrated that trans laws are no longer solely about transgender youth. Florida has targeted trans people in all aspects of life... bathrooms, teaching, books, and now, adult medical care.
The result? Trans people seeing their providers drop them.

The judge previously ruled the youth ban was likely unconstitutional.
Judge Hinkle likely had to recalibrate, however, after the 11th Circuit Court ruled that trans care is not "deeply rooted in our nations history and tradition," and so could be banned.
ALL trans care.

The ruling, which I cover in my latest article, has huge implications for trans adults in the state. Many of these people have already fled. Others have been holding out to see if they could get past waitlists, or waiting for the law to be overturned.

Increasingly, organizations and anti-trans campaigners are targeting transgender adults as the next priority for Republican legislators.
Matt Walsh, influential in anti-trans politics, has called for a ban on ALL care entirely.
