I could go on and on about Steve Shives. I've followed him for a few years now.

The best word I can use to describe Steves Shives is "smug". The guy had a very large ego and he automatically assumes his own intellectual and moral superiority before even addressing your argument. As a result he has confirmation bias a mile wide and completely ignores very valid arguments directed at him.

And the amount of pretentiousness and condescension in his voice is startling. Much like other SJW's he refuses to debate or even acknowledge a point against his argument.

Sargon did a very good rebuttal to Steve Shives here. He also challenged him to a debate but it's near impossible it's going to happen.

It's kind of sad since Steve Shives's religion videos are usually pretty good with their analysis. It's just a shame his skepticism is like an off switch he turns off whenever it inconveniences him.

I knew someone like that, once. Sure he was the smartest intellecutal around.... Ran a blog extolling his virtues of "open mindedness" and being a "free thinker" Yet, he'd cut you off in a heartbeat if you disagreed with him (proving your were stupid) got fired like clockwork every 10 months from whatever menial job he had (couldn't put up with idiots was his excuse) never graduated college (said it was "pointless") and last I heard, left town ahead of the cops who wanted him for exposing himself to kids.............. I'm sure there was a good "intellectual" reason for that, but I guess I just don't understand smart people like him enough to be privy to it.

She's a SJW and part of that feminist part of the atheist community. One of the most lulzy videos she made was this one. I was wondering if anyone had more information about her.

I mean they don't believe in it, why do they need to reply to a thread/question/blog telling that 'the answer is no because that doesn't exist.' ?
And their need to preach to the world about their beliefs is rather funny, compared to their complaints about other people preaching to Atheists.

It's really no different from a fundamentalist (or even just a very devout religious person) shoehorning Christianity/Islam/etc into every conversation, even when it's clear that nobody else is interested.

Ironically, these people seem to have made atheism their religion. It's the core of who they are, they try to convert people to their cause, and many of them venerate famous atheists and even scientists like religious people venerate saints and prophets. Of course, they'll argue till they're blue in the face that atheism isn't a religion... which it isn't, except in this case.

I don't think I've ever heard God referred to as a rapist before, holy shit. Even the most euphoric atheists usually leave the Mary issue alone as, like I demonstrated, she gives her consent. In fact, many Christians (especially Catholics) greatly revere Mary for her humility and grace before God, especially considering how many prophets (such as Jonah and Moses) originally tried to worm their way out of their duties.

Also, he burns books? Oh wow. Please tell me he also goes on about how important knowledge and free speech are, the irony would be so delicious.
