I watch a lot of both euphoric atheist channels and apologetics channels, and the bulk of the content from both is at least six years old. The culture is far more focused on general DEI shit now, rather than religion.

I'd wager this was the inevitable consequence of Atheism+: when woke atheists were forced to deal with the fact that most minorities are religious if not actively subscribed to tribal superstitions, they let “reason and science” take a backseat so they wouldn't have to tell African tribals they are wrong.
 
When you base your whole shtick on proto identity politics to jack yourself off by labeling yourself with some trademark budget science and logic group, who are actual cowards, liars and just as much scumbags as the enemy religious fundies, just with better marketing, all the while ignoring centuries old theology and philosophy that you're either too lazy or too stupid to go through, you can swim through that cyclone anyways you want, you'll still be drained down into the same pit of cringe mediocrity.
The modern atheists are some of the best representations of the internet celebrity ideal. An absolutely average person with a bunch of stolen slogans, desperately trying to push an agenda they don't understand to get clout and drug themselves in attention. They're not serious people and they never will be, causing far more damage than they'd even claim fix.

The peak of it was really during the George W. Bush years so I'm pretty sure it's old enough to officially be uncool.

Plus younger liberals have turned on Bill Maher and Michael Moore. I'm not sure there's an edgy atheist with actual media reach. It's all just weird people slapfighting on youtube.

Definitely a super tiny niche nowadays. Kinda weird to see how much the overton window can shift around in less than a decade, especially among more left leaning people. Though, I scarcely remember people criticizing Islam or Judaism even back in the day. Maybe I missed it but IIRC it was like 90% of anti-christian sperging. The prime time of ultra edgelord Internet atheism was a blast though. Binging TAA, Shoe, Skeptic, Martymer and Dark Matter was like 90% of my YouTube consumption when I was an angsty teenager. Man that's a trip. Recently came across a random clip from the Drunken Peasants and hearing Ben's voice activated some really funky feels, the kind of sensation you'd get when passing by a place you used to play around in as a kid, or some smell or taste that just takes you way, way back. Doesn't quite feel the same nowadays, especially since Scotty and TJ aren't on the show anymore by the looks of it, but man, I still remember listening to Paul and the others talking about Ben Ghazi or some shit and not understanding half of what they're talking about but loving every second of it. Some of their memes like Kaiser Scotty or Ben's mask still feel fresh to me today. Phew, nostalgia's one hell of a drug.

Also Sex Twister is still pure kino and anyone who disagrees is a joyless section 8 dweller.
 
Ok, I have to fucking talk about this. This faggot's voice has some of the worst vocal fry I've ever heard in my life. I've watched way more BreadTube than any human being should ever have to endure, and they don't even come close to the guttural groan that comes after every single word this cocksucker says.


And of course he's a Canadian, former-Christian euphoric atheist soytuber. It's the most fitting combo of all time.

So there's this atheist channel, Professor Plink, who is a run of the mill atheist commentary channel. He has the all the standard issue redditor opinions while making rebuttal videos that are identical to every other atheist grift channel.

But his video thumbnails. Dear God his video thumbnails.

They're all in the format of showing a frame from the video he'll be "debooonking" overlaid with text like "me am religious me am stoopid" with his hideous little cartoon avatar in the corner saying something smarmy.

Religions should use posts from online atheists are recruiting tools. Show the average kid this stuff and they will do everything they can to be the opposite of that

even when I was a staunch atheist I was never this annoying if someone was religious I tried to be respectful literally atheists destroyed themselves with their own behaviour

The reason why people have a negative perception of atheism is because atheism's spokespeople are mostly a bunch of assholes. First there were the commies committing atrocities and sewing misery in the West, and then almost immediately after communism fell New Atheists made it their life's mission to be as much of a smug cunt as humanly possible.
