Two more games finished...:

Portugal 0 - 0 Austria

Hungary 1 - 1 Iceland

The Portugal game is easily the saddest of the two, obviously.
Also, Hungary should have wiped the floor with Iceland, honestly.
 
It's the 88th minute of Russia vs. Wales - score is 3:0, and the Welsh are winning.

EDIT: Wales is on top of its group, Russia is dead last with 1 draw and 2 defeats. Such failtastic football hasn't been seen since the late 1990s-early 2000s.

Well done Wales, glad we could finish our group first and second respectively!

ENG v SVK 0-0 was pretty uneventful though.
 
Group F is wide open. If Hungary win I hope they destroy England in the next round. In saying that I'd love to see Ronaldo help get another England player sent off. I didn't get what the fuss was about. The potato headed cunt Rooney deliberately stomped on a man's bollocks. It was a red card offence.
 
Wales OWNED Russia's asses today (Wales 3 - 0 Russia).

That's right, Ivan. Get your vodka - drinkin' asses outta here.

England, however, SUCKED (England 0 - 0 Slovakia).

They better get eliminated in the next game they're in - I'm just sad Slovakia couldn't do it first...

I think he'll come to life against England. Don't underestimate a forward who has a goal tally higher than the amount of games he's played.
 
Poland 1 - 0 Ukraine

Good riddance to Ivan's cousin, Olaf. However, further advancement for Poland beyond Knockouts is unlikely, in my opinion. That's all I have to say beyond that.
Again - begone, Olaf!

Turkey 2 - 0 Czech Republic

Farewell, Czech Republic. Regardless, I can easily see Turkey getting carted off next, despite this fluke of a victory. I don't need to explain why. It's Turkey.

Croatia 2 - 1 Spain

I'm shocked at this one - easily the best match today. If and ONLY IF seeing a top - tier team being shown they aren't top dogs all the time like they otherwise think they are is always an enjoyable sight for me. Plus, Spain is still in this, so they can pick themselves up from this easily, like I'm sure they will, just to piss me off.

Germany 1 - 0 Northern Ireland

Another rather boring game for a match - up I'm sure we all knew how it was gonna end, too. Seriously, Germany won't start playing hard - ball until the knock out stages. THAT, is for certain!

And with that, GAME OVER (6/21/2016 - First actual Day of Summer, baby!).

England did fine. Slovakia had the campervan parked around the goal the whole time.
I'm not saying we did particularly good, (if we were, we would've switched to a tactic that works around this issue) but we certainly didn't outright suck, and if you think Slovaka played better, you either didn't watch the match (not that I'd blame you, Wales v Russia was more fun to see) or are even more delusional than those who think England could win the tournament. Slovakia were clearly content with their third place status, and took zero risks.

Got some bad news for you - most people on this board hate England, sir. Including myself (not the nation, the football team, by the by.). Even if they did play well in this game...

Correct, England played well in the game. The problem is that they didn't take ANY of their chances and you can't afford to do that on an International level or you'll end up going out to some shit country.
 
Iceland are through to the last 16 in Second place of Group F after a 2-1 victory over Austria.

Portugal are third after a 3-3 draw with Hungary.

I saw Iceland thrash Austria, 2 - 1 at the very end. Not bad, but nothing special, as it wasn't as interesting as say... Portugal and Hungary.

My attention was mostly on Portugal and Hungary (knowing that Austria would be easily eliminated, hence why I didn't pay much attention to that one)... Which I'm more than quite pissed off that I missed most of it.

Thankfully enough (and THANK GOD for them!) I did catch the highlights of Portugal and Hungary (3 - 3 tie)... And holy fuck, that was an awesome game!!!

Probably the best of this whole tourney so far, and I WILL NOT HEAR ANY ARGUMENTS against this.

Eh... I guess I can't argue with that. But I just don't see it happening. Italy's been on their A - game, hence why I can say that much.
