It wasn't as dramatic as last year but a complete shitshow nonetheless. I'm disappointed Israel didn't win to bring the mess to a head already, but it'll be interesting how they keep dragging this out. Every other country must realise that from now on their entries are going to sound like complete shit with the crowd muted plus an inevitable massive vaccuum of televotes going to Israel. Have fun competing with that shit.

Toss me clocks if I missed it in the thread, but almost immediately after the results the entire eurovision subreddit was locked. They tried to keep a lid on it last year locking individual threads but never the entire subreddit.

I don't watch the euro, but I am very amused by seeing how fucking angry the anti Israel people are.
Seething and dilate.

Though Israel did have tons of ads on Youtube, so that probably had more impact (can't confirm this either, I use adblockers.)
Oh I have memory of this. I don't have adblocker on my phone so I recall getting those ads, thinking "Well that's kinda shady" and skipped.

Next year boys and girls, Total Kiike Victory. It might have to be if Moroccanoil decides to levy their cash a little more. I bet it's 100% them that mandated the crowd dubbing.

If nothing else, Nemo’s look proves being non-binary is just being and dressing ugly. This is ridiculous.
This happens when you come from a rich family and have to invent your struggles.

The results were weirder than ever this year. I'm disappointed the UK got 0 from the public. The UK giving Israel 12 points? there has to be some riggory going on, or the kikes just have burner phones lol.

This year it was shitter than usual, I'll tell you that much. The only songs worth any praise imo were the Estonian dude just for being weird and catchy, and San Marino having a song that will be remembered for more than a week. The rest were forgettable garbage. I really hated Austria, both for the song and the singer, and personally wanted Luxemburg to win, you could tell it would mean the world to that girl.
Being forced to sit through the whole show I felt the pozloads coming through the screen. The Kike/Sandnigger seething is always fun to witness, even more so live so at least that made up for my headache a bit.

I don't know how can anyone say it's biased towards Israel when it received 1/4 of the jury votes Austria did. Eurovision was always mainly politics, but it is a white pill to see that there's still support.

The song selection is much better compared to last year. From 2024 I only remember entries by Australia, The Netherlands, Croatia and Finland. I think there was only one song that was made to be ragebait and that was Malta and even that was better than Israel's entry, simply because it wasn't boring.

Estonia and Sweden were my favorites, but I also enjoyed the "white girl summer" hits from Norway, Iceland, Spain, Luxembourg and Ireland. Lithuania was certainly the surprise also. Armenia having the entry with the most testosterone by ripping off Imagine Dragons was amusing.

I love that it is leaning into the zany side of things, there's more variety and all the "boo hoo, here's my sad piano song about my sad backstory, give me first place" has been kept to a minimum. Unfortunately, that shit does still fucking work, it seems to be a curse with all song contests with judges, including X factor or American idol, that any song that wins first place is mid af, while all the bands that got 2-5th place actually get to have any sort of notable professional career outside the contest. Everything IHE said 11 years ago still stands.

I mean, you can even see that Cha Cha Cha and Rig Tig Tigi Tigi guys showed up for collab performance, not the winners from the years they performed in. Although fortunately, this year even the winning mid entry wasn't so bad, the singing ability was impressive and stage presentation was very pretty.

I liked this year. If it could finally do away with all the bullshit virtue signaling, particularly anything in regards to Israel, I'd call it the best one thus far.

audience side corruption is possible (some kind of auto-caller or something)
Maybe, but it costs money to vote, and each number can vote only 20 times. I personally doubt it.
Apparently, Israel placing so high was because anon users on the Finnish image board Ylilauta bought votes.
Even if they got 5 million votes in Finland it would only mean 12 more points for Israel. Each country has its own points pool. They would have to do it in many countries.

It does demonstrate that the pro-Palestine protestors, the ones fighting the police outside the building and climbing on the stage to assault the singer, aren't as representative of the general publics opinion as they want you to believe.

I can only imagine how worse it's going to be in Austria next year, an Austrian friend of mine said their country/government is experiencing major financial issues.

It's okay the UK will just host again.

Better yet they may forfeit the win to Israel. Unlikely but that would be fucking funny.
