I've prowled through, I kid you not, ALL of the 300+ pages of this thread in the span of a week - read through the stream chat screenshots and all that 'slurp', the way he used assets without permission, and I even read through the advice given by the programmers here regarding the destruction that was (and still is, apparently) his code. And to think, before I stumbled into this rabbit hole that is Alex's past, just last week I was literally looking forward to the next bi-weekly YanSim update video (and the subsequent YanSim myth video by Kubz Scouts; to me, that series and his Hello Neighbour series are the more entertaining vids on his channel). Makes me rethink about everything I 'know' about YandereDev - never once have I wondered whether he was under a different handle in the past; in fact, I just didn't think to wonder at all. This thread opened my eyes indeed. Also I used to think that his voice was calming; now it just seem...eerie.

It amazes me, however, that although he's a bad programmer, he has a way with words. I never read his fics, but from his videos and online replies to his fans, especially regarding the backstories of the YanSim universe, he just sounds...convincing. Like a salesman, maybe? He sounds like one of my friends, who can and will bullshit his way out of anything when required.

Somehow, I can't find it in me to truly dislike Alex - sure, I disapprove of his actions described in this thread, but I feel like an outsider looking in, since I don't know him personally nor have I ever made contact with him.

Welcome to the farms, buddy! Any special event brought you here (like the Deviantart journals)?

And, well... The only reason the myths videos are cool are because of the endless glitches that Eva is too lazy/incompetent to fix.

I've said this to someone irl but Alex should have condensed it into an rpg maker game and added some awesome dialogue. But seeing his shitty writing skills he can't do that so he had to overcompensate.

Toby Fox understood his limits as a programmer. Alex didn't and now it's biting him in the ass

Thanks for the welcome! Honestly, I don't even remember how I found myself here AHAHAH goodness, I've been so immersed in this thread. I guess I came here from a vid (either a YandereDev update vid or a Kubz Scouts myth vid). I must have clicked on a link or something, or oh, I think I might have read a comment about how YandereDev is actually EvaXephon and he has a dirty past or something; I must have gotten curious, and googled searched, and here I am!

Oh God. I now truly realised that I looked forward to the vids because of the glitches, not because Kubz Scouts was 'trying out' the new features that were implemented. And I now also realised there's no need to 'try out' anything in the 'game', really - YandereDev literally spoonfeeds us with the features and the steps required in his 'update vids', so why do we even need to actually 'play' the 'game' anyway? Wow, I have sooo much realisations now.

You just described a great number of the people watching this thread. EvaXephon's past/ideas and other activities don't paint him in the best light, but I'd be willing to look past some of that if he could deliver on a product.

The point where I completely gave up on him was when I compared the most recent build of the game to one released several months prior. There were only cosmetic differences between them; no notable features or changes had been implemented. Everyone who notices that seems quite likely to wind up here.

Look up Azzman's recent Yandere sim videos, his explore even more of the bugs...plus Eva hates him cause he "leaked" the rivals from the fan-wiki (another fan group he's got a grudge against) and also cause Azz tells it like it is aka he said mean things about the game :( and that his self insert was in jail! and his loyal slaves thought it was real! in a game called Artificial Academy 2 he plays in the style of "Yandere Roulette" which is another fun series to watch

Same here, tbh. I was on Youtube looking at a Rival Leak video, and Alex commented about how "disrespectful" it was. Someone replied to him and said: This tumblr blog talks shit about you, did you know? You should report it". And from said blog I discovered the name EvaXephon, searched it, and it led me here X'D

It seems pretty clear that Alex has some kind of social disorder, but being into anime girls... meh, I just don't care. I think the whole "panty shots" thing needs to go; it's just a damn bad idea and is honestly embarrassing, along with all the pun names.

Talking about how he's ugly and stuff, well, lots of people are. It happens. I never felt like Alex was malevolent, although he is certainly self-absorbed and perfectionist. Frankly, I feel sorry for him more than anything.

That's my two cents. I kinda really like the damn game though. Like I think it's fun. He apparently was gonna hire people to work on making the game professional once he's done with the first rival. And that's only a few months away. I'm worried his social issues will prevent him from working well with a team, though.

Has he done anything iffy more recently though? I'm kinda hoping he's gotten a bit better at dealing with people... but I won't hold my breath.

"Trying out the new features" lol what features? I can only see bugs and stolen assets.

And personally, the thing that drove me off from YS was the panty inventory drama (goddam tasteless fanservice) and the fact the the oh so important cutscene from the betrayal/frienship elimination method was super wonky and only the only interactive part was pressing a single button.

Oh, and that mama Aishi oficial art was making me unconfortable. My firt post here was a shitty attempt to fix the drawing lol

Oh look. Eva making excuses again.

So is he implying that all of the proof provided in the first page of this thread is "not valid" and "out-of-context"? Is he that desperate to hide the truth?

Yes.

But let's take these point by point; since we know you read this thread Alex, and your brainwashed tween fans won't let anyone refute it on your reddit

  1. Your actions in the past are not irrelevant just because you say so. That's a childish rendition of what you'd hear on the schoolyard ("Nuh-uh, it doesn't matter 'cause I say so!"). Of course, you aren't familiar with the schoolyard because of your homeschooling, but all the same. All the dirt we have on your past is relevant, in part because it gives accurate background info and context on why you do the things you do right now in the present.
  2. We don't twist anything. Armchair psychoanalysis sure, but that's just what us autists at the Farms do. The screencaps we have of all your various forum and chatroom posts are straight from you and nobody else. Saying "Nah that's not me" may work on your sycophantic underaged fanbase, but not on us or anyone who reads the info in this thread.
  3. :story: Alex, trying the "fake news" narrative with us will not work. You need look no further than current real life events to know that this will backfire on you. You're not the first cow who has tried to accuse us of putting out fake information. Again, the info we have largely comes straight from you and your past postings.
  4. "Go stick your dick in a beehive" "Those are some BIG BUSTY BOOBIES *SLURP*" "If I don't get praise for something, why bother doing it at all?" Yup, totally out of context quotes and screencaps meant to mislead.
  5. Yes, you seem to have a lot of "simple misunderstandings" don't you? 8 posts worth of em'. Ever heard that saying about running into assholes all day, Alex? You seem to run into them enough to have to make 8 (and counting) Tumblr essays about them. I'm sure it's just "detractors" and "liars" like us, not you, right?

My favourite explanation of his was when he wished dead and doxxing on a person from Tumblr, and instead of saying something like "I'm sorry, that was a horrible thing to say" he decided to write a fucking essay about how he's the victim and it was totally justified.
That's the problem with his explanations. Unnecessary long and it's just excuses, instead of admitting his mistakes.

That's the biggest problem with spoiling parents. Their children can never admit fault because they didn't learn how to, and when they turn into an adult it's far too late to learn.

Ohhhh boooy. Just like someone already said - It doesn't matter if the screenshots are out of context because there is no context that would make them look good.

Same situation with twisting words. "Stick your dick in beehive". Yeah of course, it's just twisted to sound like an stupid insult. Or maybe it's just misunderstanding? Eva obviously meant "I love your videos!" by saying that. How could anyone think he was seriously talking about sticking dick in beehive? He can easily explain, by writing 10 pages of essay.

I don't know how someone can be naive enough to believe this man. I understand some people are just interested in game, and don't care about him at all, but still it should be obvious that he can't and he won't deliver promised things.

Because his fanbase is filled with children.
Children are easy to manipulate and because people praise him for his """"hard work"""" he thinks he can get away with just about anything.
