I scrolled up and checked and nobody mentioned me posting this picture to the farms today. So why he has to specify "For the record" as if he's speaking to some outside audience and not his friends is beyond me. Since it looks like none of his friends even gave a shit about what he said earlier. So what is there to set straight if they simply just didn't care?
Also how come that ONE singular message about your internet flickering on and off came through but not even one of these supposed messages you're talking about?

I know that this is going to get many disagreements but I can't help it.
I feel very low-key sorry for Eva.
What I mean is, that he probably starts being lazy because right now, he is close to a possible long-term goal of himself: To become a successful game developer.
He has such a self-esteem level up because of that, that he forgets about further development and just celebrates himself.

Nah. Mahan (better?) just longs for approval. He doesn't like putting in work to actually accomplish things.
I don't remember who said it, but I remember a movie director being quoted as telling some upstart "You don't want to direct films. You want to BE a movie director---the money, the acclaim, the glitz and glamor." That's Eva. He has no interest in actually DOING a thing, only in receiving acclaim for having done it. That's why his fanbase consists of easily-impressed children and people who know nothing about game development. That's why he starts talking about sequels, DLC, merch, cartoon spinoffs etc. before he's even got a single level ready---that's the part he cares about and where his mind is.
The only reason he even began this project was to gain /v/'s approval. When the positive attention there dried up, he moved on to 8chan, then reddit and youtube---never really accomplishing anything, but throwing "easter eggs" and flashy animations other people made in there to keep the kiddies under the impression things were happening.
Alex is easy to understand when you realize this---he wants friends and a girlfriend and money and all that, but steadfastly refuses to change one single thing about himself to make that happen. That's why he wants to be a pro streamer more than anything: It allows him to continue playing video games all day and have a pale imitation of social interaction at the same time, and if it had taken off it could've been his income as well.
I kinda feel bad for him too, because I know this is what happens when you don't ever force a kid to do things he doesn't want to do. What would be better for him than anything else is to suddenly wake up one day living on a farm in Mexico with no electricity or internet.

And for that he's a fool. Thomas Edison said invention is generally ten percent inspiration and ninety percent perspiration, so if he was expecting this to be easy, he was an idiot from the get go.
And while doing art for the sake of others isn't always a bad thing, if you have no passion for doing it at all, your art will reflect that, and his shows a lot of sizzle of ideas and dreams, but no steak of content and hard work.
