Check out the pathing trails at the 11 minute mark. See how they're different every time they're drawn, and how the line is snapping to an invisible grid? Imagine that grid stretching to cover the entire school and updating that often for every active student via A* as shown in the video. Yandere simulator! They're also right about it not using navmeshes - it's some third-party A* package and getting A* to give you anything but the fastest path is tricky.
One other single line of code to point out is how the game checks to see if the phone buttons are enabled, which makes me autism-angry:
Why use this.PhoneIcons[this.Selected].interactable when you can call a getter function to allocate and fill a color structure (with floating point HDR values!) every frame?

He basically complains about anxiety and how he's stressed working on this game and how it isn't as quick or simple as his more "simple" game ideas such as his shitty rhythm game or magical girl flying game.
He also tries hilariously tries to debunk him being lazy and not working on the game while 6k+ pages of content say otherwise.

As sympathetic as I am to people who are depressed or anxious, considering me and many of my friends and family members have issues with those and several are medicated for it, one thing that isn't at all sympathetic is him using it as an excuse to not fulfill his responsibilities when he admits, in the same paragraph that instead of finding professional help or some other therapy, he still does stuff that he knows is bad for him, and this is assuming he is telling the truth.
Cutting out friends and family to work on a meme game? Got sad because you don't have friends or family to hang out with except asskissers online? Wow, who woulda thought that would happen. Depressed people tend to cut people out, but he writes it as if it was a choice because he was so dedicated to adding lines of code to his nightmare.
given his history, there's no reason to think that some of the stuff in that blog post is real, but even if you assume he's telling the truth about everything, he's only sympathetic because he is pathetic, not because he's a victim to anyone.
edit: i guess talking about my friend and family's depression is kind of powerlevel, but who isn't popping xannies and SSRIs nowadays

Yes tell us all about how living with your parents while earning a wage that most 20-somethings would envy from a job you hate is the most miserable thing around Alex. Because it's such a struggle when your shitty game bugs out with every new update when you can't admit you suck at coding, or when your Grubhub order is 2 hrs late, or when you get so mad at a video game that you destroy your keyboard and have to buy a new one, or when a couple websites make threads to say mean things about you. You clearly deserve every penny you make with all of the hard work you put into flogging your volunteers to make shit for your one-man game.
But seriously this is what you get for abusing the fanbase that keeps you relevant and makes your paychecks, for taking advantage of your volunteers that are basically making your game for you at this point by not commissioning or crediting them, and for being so full of yourself that you deny problems with your work despite the game's playability getting steadily worse with each passing update. You made this personal hell all on your own Alex; I hope you enjoy it.

I know he's dumb but telling his remaining pay pigs that he isn't interested in the game anymore and just doing it because he has to after they gave him money? That's hella stupid, I know too many people will still support him and they're bigger idiots, but who tf wants to fund a series (that's been going on five years with little improvement) when the person who's making it equates it to being a damn prison sentence? I know making games can be stressful as shit but the dude has no passion for it anymore.

Now he's openly admitted to no longer being interested in this project. One of the worst things you can do as a content creator is work on a project you're not interested in you're going to half-ass,procrastinate, and rush out a half-hearted project. It took him 4 years to complete a 2 year Associate Degree in Animation from a community college?

Eh, it's lame but I'm willing to chalk it up to him finally being in a real fucking school after being home schooled for years and not knowing wtf to do with his life. I imagine he voluntarily didn't get out much back then so he'd hardly have any skills (still doesn't...) and all he knows about anything is from anime. His parent's are supposedly loaded so it's no skin off his nose for him to take so long.
