Hell, the modern Hitman games don't even try to make killing them hard - but killing them undetected nets you big points bonuses, and good game design makes that hard. He has no concept of incentive, only total railroading and piling on 'instant lose' conditions.It's a problem you get when your game mechanics are broken from the get-go. It's too easy to murder your target so Yandev has to add a gazillion obstacles so that you can't just beat the game in an hour by grabbing a knife and going to town, making murder completely unfun in the process. Any sane game designer would just rethink their game at that point, but...
