It might honestly be funny to see his hateboner for speedruns tweak something that interacts with his only righteous way to play, and accidentally makes that impossible too. You'd think he wouldn't do that, but every attempt of his to patch these out only proves his tunnel vision for this more and more. All Elissu would probably have to do is post a route that interacts with something that his walkthroughs use, even if it ends up not being the absolute lowest time.
I saw a video where someone killed Osana in less than 5 minutes with panty shots and buying a scheme to crush Osana. Legitimate in game methods without bugging out characters or anything. Or at least someone talking about it in a video.

Imagine thinking getting forced to immediately fail for carrying a fire extinguisher makes any logical sense.
Then again, this is Alex.
Man, this bugs me because the actual solution to this is so much easier. If you want a fire extinguisher in particular to be a bad thing to kill with, for whatever reason, just have people who see you running around with it follow you. To help deal with the fire, rather than having someone break your fucking arm for carrying it.

Ribaru has more Mary Sue powers now

Alex hates speedrunners
The first time I saw this I was completely unsure if Raibaru was either glitched and constantly thought the player killed Osana or if she just breaks your arm just for carrying the fire extinguisher, with Alex's idea of game design and how he "fixes" bugs, both sounded extremely likely.

If your only tool is a hammer, all of your problems are looking like nails, eh?

Please correct me if i'm wrong but didn't cheat codes exist for testing/debugging originally? Why not just do that instead of making these two devices and then trying to balance them later on down the line in what is already a rather broken product.
It just doesn't make much sense to waste time doing this, and creating a model for one of them, when you could just create a code to bug test quicker.
Am I thinking about this too much?

It's for Alex to create the illusion of progress by telling his fans "oh hey look I added something!"

Hatsune uploaded some more Speedruns, this time with ABC mode, how long till Alex tries to patch it out?

and now it works with drowning
so once Alex tries to fix that will Ribaru break your arm for looking at the fountain

He is a cowardly, impotent little man, and is too afraid to physically assault anyone; he is only capable of making threats over text, and wouldn’t raise a hand against anything more threatening than a kitten.
So are you saying Stalker-kun is ANOTHER one of your self-inserts, Alex?

Its even lower now at 1,903$. 9 patreons down, since Diesel's screenshot.
Alex's Patreon consistently drops quite a bit in both donations and patrons with every new month, with some recovery happening during the first few days of said new month. Check again later in the week and we'll get an accurate idea of how much support has been permanently lost, though I suspect the totals won't be recovering as much as they have been previously.

Since Alex has gone back to the standby of "stream daily and pretend to develop YanSim" and isn't doing much else of interest, I took another look at his Patreon which seems to be returning to the trend of decreasing every month.

Earnings may be up, but the number of Patrons has just about returned to the same values he had three months ago.

If it weren't for that sudden $350+ boost that occurred in July and is presumably still present (and is possibly Alex boosting his own numbers), Alex would have returned to earnings that are roughly on par with what he earned in June, prior to the release of Osana. As far as the Patreon goes, releasing Osana into the wild hasn't earned Alex all that much more than something in the realm of $300-400 or so to date, and that's evaporating like the rest of his Patreon "income".

If the release of the demo was supposed to build up hype for the "soon to arrive" crowdfunding campaign, it's not showing on Patreon.
I just realized, since Patreon takes a very "generous" cut of your earnings, that means he's LOSING MONEY by doing this

Outstanding move, Alex, you sure showed us

Not confirmed it's Alex boosting his own earnings but given how many other cows and...eccentric people donate to themselves to appear more successful/popular than they really are, it's not a stretch of the imagination to say Alex may be doing something similar.

Ever since we started suspecting Alex for boosing his patreon earnings I thought that he primarily did this so that his paypigs wouldn't catch on that he's losing patrons. He obviosuly doesn't want them questioning him/his game and looking for the reason why people are leaving. Maybe he's hoping they just don't look at the number of patrons and focus on his earnings. And I doubt his army is resourceful enough to use analytics.
Idk how some of these fuckers can see the over 3k drop (correct me if I'm wrong, I remember he was making over 5k in his prime) over the years and not question that there might be sth wrong.

It would be cheaper to just put nonexistent people's logos on the splash screen.

>teenager discovers Yandere Simulator
>they're supportive of Alex for a while
>they discover the shady shit Alex has done/realize the game will never be finished
>they stop supporting Alex and his game
>another teenager discovers Yandere Simulator

Rinse and repeat.
