If he wanted to honestly communicate and gain my trust, he should have made an unscripted video with face cam. Just sitting down and talking eye to eye, not this crap.

Ok, I think we can talk about Alex's time on 8chan, since there isn't really much to talk about - 8chan was completely wiped in 2019 and it's only archive is gone, so all I have left is four full threads, one archived page and some screenshots (God bless you, Wunkolo) . It really breaks my heart and balls, since believe it or not, but Alex was acting way more deranged on 8chan, than he was on 4chan and also, it was out there for years, yet no one tried to do anything and now it's gone. And I though, that I was fucked when archive on yuki.la died. That's why we should always archive or screenshot our shit.

It's hard to tell when was the first time when Alex visited 8chan with a tripcode on for the first time. According to Alex himself, it was in late 2014, he didn't get enough asspats and ran back to 4chan.

Remember, he gets very sad when his threads die before post limit so he posts in them without a tripcode.

It quickly changed after the connection between "based cool YanDev" and "that whiny permavirgin jew EvaXephon" became apparent on January 5th, 2015. So quickly in fact, that day later (or maybe even the same day) Alex was shilling YS on 8chan. There he tells how he came up with idea of YS and it turns out to be even more lame - he found Unity pack first and then asked his friend what game it could fit in! That's not even "idea guy" level of mediocrity! He also admits that his only drive to make this shit is "so people would not call me an idea guy again".

Next I have his posts from July of 2015, which were miraculously saved with a copy of search by tripcode. Those posts lead me to believe that Alex's choice of words and the manner of speaking on 8chan were strikingly different. Either it was growing popularity of his asset flip getting into his head, or the fact that he wasn't humiliated by 8chan many times before, or maybe both of those things, I don't know. But let's take a look.

But if you ask me who was worse - 4chan or 8chan, it's hard to tell. On the one hand, 4chan didn't throw him out immediately after he was outed, but on the other 8chan let him in, when it'd already been known who he is. Like I've said, it all died only after Alex pandered to those dirty normies, otherwise they were almost fine with him. What really surprises me though is that Alex allowed himself to act that way with 8channers, who were way more vicious and deranged than 4channers. God, I just watched the video, what an absolute nightmare. I really don't know why he things coming out and admitting "I mismanaged the project for seven years and failed to deliver on my initial promises" will win over people. Imagine if Microsoft came out after all the Halo Infinite delays and told people that they took their criticism to heart regarding the early state of Infinite, and so they've dropped the open world and campaign, and doubled down on the Forge game mode for launch, because making a platform for player creativity is what they had aimed for all along. That's what I was thinking about too. At first, he seemed to be just spiteful and mad over the fact that the world isn't perfect i.e. doesn't treat him like he is a protagonist of his own anime and later 5 seconds of fame just inflated his ego to the size of the Hindenburg (and with the same ability to fly). However, the more I looked into him, the more delusional he seemed to be. Even back in 2011 he could easily believe that some /v/irgin would meet "the girl of his dreams" in person just to talk with her about his Gaia posts, he even said that he thought they were in his chat all the time. Then how he talked about "being great at programming" in YS threads, despite the fact that several months ago Mike Z called him unhireable and he learned fuck all since, to the point of making exactly the same mistakes he warned him about. Back in the day I really couldn't decide if he uses gremlins as an excuse for his handicapped fans or is it his true and honest belief. Now I am convinced, that he really thinks about some evil force that is plotting to sabotage him and it all comes from his juvenile black and white worldview. Pretty much, althought I'm gonna give props to Alex for thinking he could go for the CDPR route of "keep updating the game" to bad that he built the whole "YS fandom" around the RPG/Story elements of the game (or the lack thereof) and what he said speaks volumes about the state of the vertical slice he manage to make after 7yrs.

So basically he's going to try to squeeze every penny from the people in his discord server since they're the "main" target for this big amusement park that is YS that's it until he change something from the game since Alex sometimes doesn't like people playing the game in a "certain" way, and as for winning the people trust that's a wishful thinking of him that people forget all the controversies and fuck ups he has done is impossible since he IS known for such things.

Is it confirmed that she isn't with Alex anymore? AFAIR, she is still among the mods on the subreddit. If she has any sort of bad blood with Alex, leaving her there is asking for trouble. On the other hand, there is something I'm not sure about - it seems that Alex almost stopped using new art in his recent videos, which can hint towards them going separate ways.
