LOL, yelnatszeroni was at it again. Unsurprisingly, it's about the Aventure Time finale.

How old is this person? There's a stage of development in gay people where they're completely obnoxious about their sexuality (this is something that's recognized by social science), but normally you're supposed to grow out of it by your mid-20's at the latest.
I don't have access to papers that talk about it, but I can explain it in more detail. The basis of the model is that people with non-standard (i.e. non-straight) sexualities go through different steps to square their sexuality with the rest of their identity because the world operates on the idea that being straight is the norm and a lot of what we think of as "standard growing up stuff" is subtly based in heteronormativity. The sequence goes something like this: realization -> rejection -> inner conflict -> acceptance -> isolation -> integration. Realization is the person realizing that they might not be straight, rejection is them initially saying "but I can't be gay", inner conflict is the transition phase before acceptance, at which point the person finally accepts their sexuality. Isolation is the step that pretty much all of the people documented in this thread are locked in. This step is characterized by the person making their sexuality the thing that defines them and the person preferring to only interact with other non-straight people. No one's really sure why this phase is a thing, but one idea is that it comes from wanting to form a community with other people who have gone through the previous phases. Integration is when you realize that you were acting like a dickhead during the isolation phase and become a normal member of society. It's worth noting that some phases may be shorter or longer, or might even get skipped altogether, depending on the environment the individual lives in and how homophobic that environment is. It's also possible to regress to previous phases that you've already been through if you go through some sort of life-changing event, but generally people who reach Integration don't regress.I’m really curious about that being recognized by social science- do you have sources?

I definitely agree with you that a lot of this behavior seems more like snowflakeism, but I wouldn't doubt if there were some genuine lesbians doing this. I've met quite a few gay women who have said less abrasive versions of sentiments catalogued in this thread in casual conversations. Adding in that the internet tends to encourage extreme behavior, and some of these could be from misguided young lesbians. That doesn't mean we shouldn't laugh at them, though. This makes a lot of sense for a lot of genuinely gay kids I’ve seen- but I really have my doubts most of the examples in this thread are genuinely gay- this behavior reeks of snowflakeism and doubling down.

Because they're basically incels.
Integration is when you realize that you were acting like a dickhead during the isolation phase and become a normal member of society.
so could it be possible that most of these kind of nice girls skipped the integration part and is just stuck in the isolation part instead? It's worth noting that some phases may be shorter or longer, or might even get skipped altogether
Assuming that most of them are real lesbians and not weird trendhoppers, it's moreso that they're stuck in isolation and unable to reach integration. Like I said before, unless you're a late bloomer in terms of discovering your sexuality, most people should be through this phase by their mid-20's. I'm hoping that the actual lesbians that are featured here are younger than that, but some of them seem much older and I'm not sure what's wrong with them.so could it be possible that most of these kind of nice girls skipped the integration part and is just stuck in the isolation part instead?

Isn't that the episode where the lesbians commit suicide and are now at the mercy of the firm which hosts the server upon their lesbian community resides?https://twitter.com/harleivy

I’ve always hated this word. It’s the epitome of being super pretentious about who you want to fuck~sapphic~
