Chris is autistic and was raised by television (specifically 90s cartoons) and so the idea of a faceless malicious organisation/conspiracy pulling the strings in his life couldn't have been too far-fetched for him (remember, in his mind he is the protaganist in a world of NPCs). Furthermore he was attacked online by a seemingly innumerable, apparently organised group of (what he perceived to be) villains who were hell-bent on ruining his life, which probably fed into this belief.

With this in mind it's not too hard to see how he could connect the dots and see any and all grievances in his life as being interconnected.

Actually, you don't have to be autistic to do that. If you look at manosphere, it's full of bitter cunts who "looking back" on their lives reach the conclusion that their misery is due to a conspiracy of women/feminists/"SJWs" or some other bogeymen and never to their own mistakes or faults. For some reason, this kind of thinking is particularly frequent with males around the age of 25-30. Manobots may not be extremely bright, but most of them do not suffer from any mental disorder. If they can be that deluded, then autistic manbabies can be all the more.

I'm curious as to what the community feels is the worst excuse Chris has ever used to justify his bad behavior?

For me personally its from one of the Kacey calls where Chris claims to have multiple personality disorder to cover his ass when he makes mistakes. Also in the same call he claims to have memory issues and possibly be possessed by the spirit of a dead troll. Possibly Clyde Cash.

Now i know Autism will be the most commonly used excuse but lets try to focus on the many others. This is my first post so please be honest and true.

I liked it in this video where his alleged apology boils down to nothing more than blaming the trolls for his 'former' homophobia, with a view to ingratiating himself with the LGBTQ community.

He had an opportunity to look upon his past transgressions and apologise for them (which would have been a first for CWC and honestly would have garnered him some respect in my eyes) but instead he misses the point entirely and sidesteps the blame as usual with the classic trolls excuse (even though Chris was homophobic as fuck long before his discovery by ED).

It's a perfectly valid meta topic especially given how much Chris' terrible excuses he gives about the stuff he does contribute to him being a lolcow. Even if it's something that's been talked a hundred times over new people discover Chris all the time and want to participate in the discussion.

For content : I think the explanation for ShecameforCWC was probably one of the worst excuses for anything I've ever heard, and not just in terms of Chris.

I would pick ShecameforCWC as his crowning achievement of bad excuses, since it exemplifies one key factor of his personality: he thinks he should be/is allowed to do anything to make himself feel better, and he fails to comprehend what others feel on the matter.

The entire call is full of excuses, ranging from how it was ok to kill Alec, Sean, Evan, and Mao in the comic because they killed Simonla (just ignore the fact Sean and Mao had nothing to do with that,) how he wants Feburary 24th celebrated nationally, when Alec said that's egotistical to want your birthday to be a holiday, he said because it's Mexican Flag Day "like a second Valentine's day", or that Sandy is original because she's the daughter of Wild Sonichu, a character that he made.

Alec: And you didn't even upload them on your birthday, you uploaded them today. The day after. People who miss deadlines don't get paid.

Chris: Well, I had computer troubles.

Alec: Of course you had...

Chris: And I had to go out, and I had to go with my family to a restaurant to celebrate my birthday.

Alec: Sonichu is your job, Chris!

Chris: [sigh] That's another thing, you put them in the perspective of like, he's my job, it just makes me feel...

Alec: Well, you intend to make your huge money-making franchise, right? So yes, he is your job.

Chris: Yeah.

Alec: Yeah! And you don't take your job seriously!

Chris: [sigh] But, but you see, with that belief, with that definition, in the mentality of an artist, when the thing was originally supposed to be a work of art and creativity, then it just cheapens it.

Alec: Um, well, then, I could say it cheapened it when you started saying you intended to publish it and make money off of it.

Chris: [sigh]

Alec: So what you're telling me now is, you have no intention of ever making money off Sonichu. Because if it is just a work of art for its own sake, that's fine. But you keep promising, you know, deadlines that you miss, and you keep saying you're gonna publish it and make money off of it.

Chris: [massive sigh]

Alec: Do you not want to make money off Sonichu anymore?

Chris: No, I would like to make money off of Sonichu.

Alec: Well, okay. You're cheapening it, then, it's not a work of art anymore.

Chris: Because I had too many influx from bad people like the trolls!

Alec: What the hell do trolls have to do with it, Chris?

He didn't make the deadline, Alec reminded him that Sonichu is basically his job, and Chris cried that deadlines and calling it a job will cheapen Sonichu as an artwork and him as an artist, what we in the neurotypical world would call "selling out." Alec reminds him he does want to make money off Sonichu (which btw he eventually did) and it's already "cheapened." With this logic thrown at Chris he immediately jumps on the classic excuse of trolls.
