I love those awesome tree-decoratin' skilz the Chandlers have there. It's like they threw a box of ornaments at the tree and whatever stuck was allowed to stay there, forever.

And I wonder which lucky one got the amazing gift of a whole bag of XMas colored M&Ms?

I feel obligated to mention that while I did not support the aid box effort, I did support concept behind it.

My reasoning behind this stance at the time was that Chris is an unappreciative SOB who would not be grateful in the least over anything sent to him, no matter how generous; given that, he should not be graced with anything. That being said, I have great respect for those who contributed to the effort because doing so demonstrated unselfishness--exactly the opposite of what we have always seen out of Chris and will forever more.
I respect the people who did it. I especially respect that they knew full well that Chris would show no gratitude, but they did it anyway because they believed in it.

Though now, it's been quite well demonstrated that Chris seems to expect he should get regular donations of $1,000 every couple months. In the future, any amount of charity given to him will go to no good.

Meh, the Chandler brood is the very definition of lost cause. Any money you give to them might was well be thrown down a well for all the good it will do.

If you ever have the urge to give Fatty anything slap yourself then go give those dollars to your local food bank where it will do some actually good.

Well if the donation was really a motivation for this latest spree, it should get credit for generating some good content. Speaking as one of the donators, but not for the rest, there is a bright side of it happening this way. We got to help a man in need, and see a series of amusing and unpredictable responses.

Speaking to the issue of whether Chris bought this for himself, is it possible he bought a cop knowing that that might be something a ween would buy him? It is giving him a lot of credit, but he did say he got the irony.

Lastly, I think his motivation for giving himself "donations" is not so much to get the ball rolling on donations from others, but as a way of living in a fantasy world where people buy him gifts. Kind of like the stereotype of the lonely deranged woman who sends herself flowers from "admirers" to her cubicle at the office.

The getting the ball rolling argument makes some sense, and it could well be a part of it. I don't buy the getting it past Barb argument. He doesn't use facebook to communicate with Barb. If he bought himself lego and didn't want Barb to know he could always try to hide it or just tell her that trolls sent it. Posting it on facebook seems really extraneous to this fabrication, and leads me to believe posting it on facebook has an appeal of its own.

Hmm yea interesting. I'll take this convo with a grain of salt. I can't imagine Chris would be willing to nonchalantly discuss his finances. Oh wait, never mind, I totally can.

Well, he eats there on holidays so you'll still be giving him money. But at least it won't be going directly to Legos.
Now I can't stop thinking of Chris hoarding all the food to himself when they go to Food Banks.

"I gotta eat! Now now now NOW NOW!"

Well at least he admits he is going to buy legos with the money. I like how he goes through obsessive phases over the years. First its sonic, then pokemon, the card games, then Sony and finally legos

Interestingly, he was more creative when into trading cards (Wall of Originals, anyone?) Than he'll ever be with the literal ton of bricks he has now.

If Chris wants to end up exactly like his mother, he definitely needs to keep doing what he's doing.
Chris will have a sex change age 40, and adopt his mother's name. Then, putting her PS 5 into the microwave to fix it will open up a Time Void, knocking her back to the year 1975. Her sweet sashay and wink-flirt win her a job as secretary. In 1980 she bumps into Bob Chandler at a bar and Christian/Barbara understands what her true destiny is...

Chris bought anything, and then attributed it to a troll.

Chris doesn't about people giving him gifts. It's the donations angle.

Barb doesn't know about facebook. To her, it's probably part of a single facebook-ebay-email unit.
