Yeah. I've blocked people and been blocked before on Facebook. Should still work that way. Of course, they can always make an alt account with a different email address and try again, but chances are Chris'd block them as soon as a new message arrives in his inbox.

So, if his pic is still there in a private message, then he hasn't blocked you?

I guess so. Also, the username should be blue like the rest of the accounts on Facebook. Although I know there's a function that allows people to not add you unless you add them. Maybe they updated messaging settings recently. I should probably check.

UPDATE: Facebook allows you to block messages from users who aren't friends. Not sure if Chris knows how to do that, though.

Never forget this old chestnut regarding suicide:

Okay, 'never' might be overly absolutist....but keep in mind, this rule seems to work more often than not. Most folks who harp on about offing themselves tend to be drama queens with no incentive to seppuku themselves; and most of those who do themselves in, tend to do so without huge, loud volleys of "look at me look at me look at me" fanfare as warnings.

In regards to the post, that's actually the most well-spoken I've ever seen Chris. People saying it beats a Cole Smithey review aren't kidding. He probably poured his heart into not sounding like a retard and to be contradicted in any way is what brought about his snappy response.

You can always message other people as long as they exist. However, if they block you, you can no longer view their profile or message them anymore. Which is why Chris's name is in black and his profile pic is gone in OP's pic.

So even when trying his hardest to do something easy he messes something up. Not surprising but damn. In a review of a movie, something that at the end of the day is subjective, he still fucks it up.

I suspect the movie appeals to Chri­s-Chan in the "adolescent revenge" sort-of-way that action pics are made to appeal to the male teenage demographic. So I guess the logic would go: since it appeals emotionally to him, it must be a good movie and therefore something everyone should see so they will know how he feels and thus pity him and give him praise for being a poor depressed autistic warrior or something.

That said, (RANT TIME) I'm really getting annoyed by people who like things "ironically". Either you like something, or you don't, either way you don't have to justify it to anyone. If liking shitty beer, wearing ugly glasses, or having a crap computer is contrary to what people expect of you then maybe you should just own up to the fact that you have shitty taste. Or, perhaps, that you're a pretentious twat that thinks people actually evaluate you based on your glasses, beer, and choice in computer, when in reality most people have their own shit to worry about.
