Knockout's TF2 thread discovers the recently announced TF2 zombie mod. They don't know who runs it, but when they find out who one of the programmers are (ficool2, creator of hammer++), I guarantee the discussion will turn to how he's a transphobic chud because he didn't support kids getting tranny surgeries and got banned from Knockout like 5 years ago.

they have 12 devs on their public discord server, only ficool2 seems to have the moderator role. 5 of the devs (including ficool) have either created hundreds of tf2 workshop items or were credited in maps that got added to the game, obviously related to tf2 emporium.

They're not in my mind anymore and I merely saw this thread had been bumped while doing my rounds, since nowadays I just come here and the DJT lolcow and TES threads are enough to keep me up-to-date on the political situation. Plus, looking at KO's "hot thread" population numbers and subforums' last post dates, the site's only been on a steeper and steeper decline since I last looked. Meanwhile, for how much of a dipshit Garry himself may be, Facepunch seems to be doing well for itself--S&box has so far been a success as far as I've heard and Gmod just keeps on trucking as usual, to say nothing of Rust.

The facepunch forums existed as they were because the power vacuum of Something Awful was so strong that it created an inverse power structure around some british guy shitposting halfway around the globe. The second it outlived its usefulness and garry realized he had created a monster he let it out to pasture.
