Thats my favorite part, even stuff made by Nixon loving cigarette salesmen is considered socialist now all because they have a story where at the end a guy holds a ceo at gunpoint, after already outrunning a literal indian raid, a race riot, and every other madtv esque stereotype of every other group of people. The story ends with a random guy holding up a ceo who doesnt do anything wrong. But its now a cool socialist screed. At this point people should be 1488 out of spite

They'll likely focus more the Bethesda Fallouts since those all fleshed out America more. Meanwhile 1 and 2 didn't bother much on how bad pre-war America was because you only needed the intro to flat out state what happened while you go through the post-apocalyptic remnants. I get they can say corporations screed over thw world but so did everyone else because everything went to hell regardless of what country it was.

Bethesda would rather the Fallout brand get raped into the dirt and buried alive than remind people how shit the story content they added to it by allowing decent West Coast stuff to exist. The only way the show is West Coast is if they commissioned the show to purposefully be a plane crashing into the mountainside in an attempt to ruin non-Bethesda Fallout forever.

Ha! But corporations and consumerism caused oil to run out causing the Resource War! Therefore Capitalism is what ruined the world! If there was a large communistic nation certainly that wouldn't have been a problem and the entire world would have been at peace. Clearly Fallout was always anti-capatalist (but it stopped and they missed the point for whatever games you didn't like in the series).

That reminds me ... it's going to be adorable watching Amazon try to navigate Fallout lore and the shenanigans the Chinese got up to without pissing off their masters in Beijing. I'd bet good money they cut any reference to the Chinese, unless it's to show they were really the victims of the Great War.

Background lore is one of Bethesda’s strengths, so Amazon has a lot of material to explore.

What is with leftists and projecting their own beliefs on to every piece of media.

Exhibit A:

Fallout is about and should stay about one thing: War.

And even then it never really gives the theme of "war is bad". It shows that war is a tool that people have used for millennia and in the wasteland it is no different. It is up to the player to decide if war can be a justifiable tool to survive, protect others, propagate a worldview, etc.

Fallout does have its side themes though. Even then they may bring up "racism and classism", but the game doesn't take a hard stance on it, it's up to the player to take a stance on it.

Two of the many things that will make your game get rejected for sale in China is drug use and violence against humans, the first being a major part of Fallout and the second being integral. The slants being the enemy of the US during the Great War doesn't even make the list of that game's problems.
