Fallout series

The Cabot House quest felt stupidly Lovecraftian.
I had no idea that I had a disease and gave the serum away. Thankfully a good additem spared me the drama.

I actually didn't like the intro of Fallout 3. I thought it had some golden moments like the interactions with Dad, but those were too short for me to actually become attached to him as a character. I also felt that the whole unrest in the Vault and escape from the Vault came a little sooner than it should have. I was just sort of forced into dealing with killing characters I had no attachment to and fighting through the Vault was more annoying than fun.
It's still leagues above the Fallout 4 intro though. Man I could not be more disappointed with that intro.
Yeah, the whole escape thing in Fallout 3 came a bit too soon. The intro really could of showed one more of life in the vault in terms of building up what kicks off the plot or at least kinda making one want to approach things differently during their escape.

I have absolutely no idea to ally with. This isn't like NV where I could basically tell everyone to fuck off and go into business for myself. The railroad seems like the obvious choice but they could give a fuck less about Boston as a whole. The Minutemen seem ideal but the problem is I know I have to fucking nuke the city if I go with them. The BOS are assholes again and I don't wanna ally with them, considering Strong, Nick and Deacon are pretty bro. Fuck the Institute is all I have to say about them. Any suggestions?[/spoilers]

Minute Men are a neutral faction, BOS, Railroad and the Institute let you join and do a few quests, I have a feeling at a certain point they stop letting you in or make you massacre the rest. Right now I am in the institute already questioning a lot of plotholes.

I've been thinking. You could build a concentration camp for settlers, right? Maybe force them to do some work before herding them into rooms full of flamethrowers? I think I'll start working on that soon, the drive-in theater would be the perfect testing ground if I can get more people.
On an unrelated note, something is bugging me. how do children of atom live for more than a few days? Why does the same radiation that kills you in minutes have little discernible effect on them?
The Glowing Sea is the most bullshit area of any fallout game ever. Even in power armor, three fucking Deathclaws at the same time? Fuck you.
The cave you have to go to during the main questline in The Glowing Sea has a respawning deathclaw directly outside. The second time I went there I fast traveled wearing just my hazmat suit, I just kept poking in and out of the cave getting cheap shots at him until he died.

>Bethesda
>A coherent story with no holes or ret-cons

Just don't try to question it, it's a waste of brain power and time. Enjoy murdering robutts instead.

The town bell is useful in that it can get all the people in your settlement to meet there, so put a bunch of mines around it and watch the fun begin

Suprised it took em this long to add a tommy gun to the arsenal. I mean it's like the most iconic gun of the mid 1900's, you'd think they would've added it in sooner. But I gotta say even with the all its faults, I'm really loving it so far.

I heard there were day 1 mods for Fallout 4. I've never played any of the Fallout games, but how long does it usually takes to make mods like Project Nevada, custom weapons and armor, custom questlines and NPCs, overhauls, and new locations. What's the length of all of that? What I've seen is just some graphics mods and maybe some custom textures.

The Brotherhood of Steel are kinda assholes in this game, basically running into the commonwealth and forcing the inhabitants to "donate" crops and supplies to their cause. I kinda wish there was an option to convince the Institute to stop making the synths self-aware and conscious and make them more like Mr. Handys so that the Railroad can be satisfied with the lack of technoslavery and the Institute can continue their scientific endeavors.
