Fallout series

ANY excuse to show the actors face huh?
They are cucking for niggers so hard that even in the poster the Power Armor is lacking a helmet. Meaning that showing a nigger's face on the poster is more important than the literal most important and iconic image in the entire Fallout franchise. A Power Armor Helmet. Imagine if the covers of Fallout 1 and 2 or New Vegas had just some random nigger's ape face instead of a unique helmet or mask.

This is the level of disrespect that fans will be dealing with. I can't wait for all social media space about the Fallout series to be permanently ruined by the race brigade who will now have to defend this nonstop. It's going to be like when they changed all the Targaryens in the Game of Thrones prequel to being niggers and everyone had to tip toe around the issue on every forum or risk being banned.

Oh boy I can't wait for canon to be trampled on, non feral ghouls to be made insanely rare, the brotherhood to be the last, best hope for humanity, and all sorts of quirky humor with a female action protagonist!!!

That said considering how the creators of FO1 itself where responsible for The Outer Worlds, a game I like the general gameplay of but my god do I wish I could kill everyone that isn't the priest companion and the sports star companion
Well good news, you can kill everyone you want in Outer Worlds! The game doesn't hold your hand and tells you that you cannot kill certain NPCs, anyone you see can be murdered right down to NPCs needed for certain story quests, and the game will still have a way to carry forward. The only exception is the scientist dude from the intro, who sits behind bulletproof glass the entire game. You can still have him killed if you side with The Board however, so technically every NPCs in the game is killable, with a possible asterisk of one NPC per playthru.
Funny thing is that people love comparing OW to NV, but I think spiritually it is more similar to Fallout 1: Both are shorter games and encourage replayability, both have a ton of builds even if only a few are viable, both have quite a bit of quirks to them that make the game either more interesting or worse off, both have unique worlds that have a lot of potential, both have a lot of oldschool RPG roots in them while being very modern(for their time) and both actually have choices and consequences at the time where they were lacking. Outer Worlds falters in a few ways that Fallout doesn't, but it doesn't make it a bad game, just not a timeless classic. I think Tim Cain succeeded what he was going with by making Outer Worlds, but cut out too many features and undercooked it, I hope the reason it's taking so long to make OW2 is because they're fixing a lot of the issues people had a problem with.

Just wanted to say this is the worst poster I have seen in a long time and whoever designed it should never work in media again.

This shit looks AI generated lmao
Good to see Bottlecaps being back, you know considering we're in NCR territory where they use paper/gold money.

ANY excuse to show the actors face huh? I guess power armor can do this now.
It wouldn't be a piece of post-Interplay Fallout media if there wasn't yet another goddamn retcon on how Power Armor works, huh?

Somebody probably thought that it's better that way and it helps the retards/non-gamers recognize the "iconic device" that is also available on the Bethesda Store™.

Well, how else would you know that a black man is inside?

Honestly I completely forgot about that tbh, and I shot up the board fairly early on in one of my runs just because I thought it would be funny.

It always felt weird to me how it was being compared to NV instead of 1 just because of it being an Obsidian title even though Tim had zero involvement with NV and neither Sawyer nor Avellone had any involvement on FO1, at least I don't remember Sawyer having any for 1 feel free to correct me but I am pretty sure he joined Black Isle after it released. But yeah I fully agree, its got some undercooked parts but OW is honestly a pretty solid game overall and one I do enjoy. I just really didn't care for most of the companions, I do wish the DLCs added new ones from it depending on your choices, that was a missed oppratunity.

That must mean they picked the ending whee you nuked it. Fuck, I was ok with Avellone before but that stupid fuck just destroyed the one faction that was actually building a lasting society. Shit, it was even kind of obvious looking back at it but now I'm pissed.

Maybe Shady Sands was the name of a county pre-war? It would be a dumb retcon but its probably the best retcon they could do in that situation.

Do we know what the timetable for this is? For all we know, this could just be a library build by the NCR. Shady Sands is their capital city, it's got paved roads and working vehicles along with tens of thousands of people living there, there is no reason they can't build a school or a library or any other kind of building if they want to.

It's supposedly set after fallout 4.

I watched the trailer again. I think the one thing I like is the power armor, besides the stupid helmet gimmick. The guy just walks towards people shooting at him, it really looks like a walking tank as it should. These things liberated Anchorage, they should be totally immune to bullets and just roll over any minor threat.

Still really not sold on the entire aesthetic. Fallout 4 changed so much for the worse, I mean even in the screenshot above, how do they have 2x4s to make picnic tables?

I get it, but thats some really clean plywood for those tables, must have a new lumber industry to push out those planks! What with all the plentiful trees in the wasteland.
if you sand enough you can get all the nice cancer causing wood right off the plank and get em looking nice and clean.

Plus by this point in time the NCR probably does have a lumber industry set up

if a shithole like New Reno got schools and a orderly society if you kill all the Gangsters at the end of fallout 2, then a orderly city like Shady sands should be even more advanced.

I agree, but it goes back to the question of "why does it look so shitty if its new?"

Like I'm sure its just going to be an Easter Egg for autists to get mad about and over analyze in the end, but it goes back to a fundamental issue that Fallout has seemingly faced since Fallout 3, but made even worse cause of the timeframe and location.

And I dont want people to get the wrong idea, I think a lot of people take Fallout way too fucking seriously for what it is and honestly has always been, but I can see why people notice this shit too.

As someone who has never played the games, can I get a quick run down of how the new series looks like it will shit all over them?
