Fallout series

Oh, you're being silly it says acclaimed video game creator, but doesn't say anything about being the creator of fallout. Sure people will infer that they mean he created fallout, but they're being silly and wrong as well. If you think about it Todd did save fallout from falling into nothing while bringing it to millions who would have never played the games and for that he has more claim to fallout than some nobodies. I mean what was fallout before Todd, overly complicated visual novels where the game world reacted to player action with unique attribute and skill systems? Who wants that I hope fallout 5 is just a first person shooter with perks like cod and they remove all the silly systems that make fallout special.

So, are we going to talk about the cyclops? What the fuck was that?
Not what's going to happen in million years, but an answer that could work is it's a vault that accepts and creates mutants as a part of their vault experiment and that would make the main character a naive idiot when they meet some of the more horrible mutants of the wastes. The real reason is probably because the production heard fallout is silly and has mutants so they wanted the show to have silly mutants.

Wait until the Battle of the Hoover Dam is shown to be between the Enclave and the Brotherood. And they just retcon New Vegas out of existence.
Retconning NV out of existence would be a fatal mistake for the series as it's still the best Fallout game.
Which is something that spiteful faggot Todd would do. I don't recall a single nod toward NV in 4.
Todd Howard is salty as hell that Obsidian knocked it out of the park.

Apart of that Deacon referenced showed earlier in this thread, in Far Harbor there's a robobrain actress mentioning Vera Keys from Dead Money.
But more than that, nothing.

Anyway, all you faggots like guns and shit. Nothing can stop a unarmed build.
I have a broken crit build (and a Heavy Handed-melee focused) for the ones who're interested.

It's on the Vanity fair article that officially revealed all the details about the show:

Which if I'm correct it would mean the show it's set 9 years after the events of Fallout 4, in 2296, and would make the fact that they are ignoring most of the background of the setting even more obvious.
I think there is a way this could actually work:

The Courier siding with Legion and nuking NCR is canon. After losing 90% of their army in what is seen as pointless war NCR descends into anarchy and collapses, places like Boneyard ceasing to exist. Legion is unable to capitalize on that because, well, turning one of the few potential supply lines into nuclear hellhole turns out to be a bad idea.
This power vacuum allows western Brotherhood to come out of their bunkers and establish their new order. The main threat in the show is new, "synthesized" Legion led by Courier himself coming to finish the job.

But this shit would actually be interesting so it won't happen.

Blunt force trauma, baby. A liver punch will legitimately stun people: your nervous system fucks itself.
I mentioned this earlier in the thread, but the fact that you can stomp your enemy while they're stunned on the ground is pretty metal. The satisfaction of stomping on a stupid cazadore or deathclaw is like no other.

any game that has unarmed builds as a thing is automatically good
there is nothing stupider yet gigachadlier
Reminds me of my Dr. Livesey build. No drinking alcohol or taking chems and only using sawed off shotguns and machetes.

I never used vats for this, but I wish it was one of those special attacks you occasionally did.

Also pretty based

One of the reasons unarmed vats is so broken is because of the stomp move.
100% additional damage (adding the +5% critical chance and the double damage). That's a game breaker. And even a shotgun with Shotgun Surgeon and And Stay Back can't reach that level.

Making the MC a female is probably the biggest sign the whole thing is going to crash and burn.

The games drew inspiration from A Boy and his Dog. The whole setting was made to appeal to guys. Maybe some girls like it, but it's mostly guys.

Is Kathy Kennedy also giving pointers to Amazon?
Maybe in a different time a girl protagonist could work if they went the "Naive/idealistic fish out of water scenario" or something, but in this day and age is pretty much a given that she will be the typical girl boss who is better at everything than the rest of the cast.
