That's the thing, they don't. They're fans of the show, of Slopthesda, not Fallout. Sure you can make any garbage Fallout and people will come in droves but that's just brand recognition, the only pattern recognition normies understand. Do not welcome them unless they make the effort to deserve to be welcomed. Gatekeep the fuck outta everything, even if it's as small as your own group of enthusiasts

God fucking damn it. He's a manic depressive (or something akin to that) so maybe that's why. Good thing Nexus preserves mods, and people said that's a bad thing...fags. From what people who know him in real life have said, he's done with the internet and is leaving. More specifically RoyBatterian who makes the LE versions of Someguy's mods has said "Someguy2000 has left the building. We will miss him."

I don't blame anyone for that considering that based on the TV show it seems like Bethesda's favored direction for Fallout is "what if it was like Borderlands with all the shitty writing and toilet humor but without the very few good parts of Borderlands like the gunplay?"

I can't believe I'm saying this but I played the entirety of Fallout the Frontier and even the goofy ass Enclave space station which was the least Fallouty part of the mod still felt more like Fallout than the abortion of a TV series.

There was a bit of a update to this, basically the patch was causing stutters, but the issue was actually due to a change in Fallout 4 Bethesda made. Any change to a NPC would cause stutters and lag constantly. So Technically the Patch wasn't bugged but it was causing stutters, but the stutters were Bethesda's fault for a change they made.

Also there was a new interview with the Fallout London Project Lead and GOG, who will be releasing the mod on their site.

Nothing too interesting in the update really, except the Project Lead saying the team are debating the idea of releasing a version of FOLON for downgraded versions of Fallout 4.

yea releasing a version for downgraded games seems like the way to go here. Shit took live seven years to make, they're not going to build it from the ground up again just for Bethesda to break it again in two weeks because they want to release more stupid creation club shit.

Just use the downgrader. All of the new stuff is shit, and a lot of the prominent modders are saying they'll only support the old version anyways. The Cascadia team did and the FO London team said they're considering it too.

A lot of the mods I want to use for Fallout New Vegas have been relocated to Nexus. Should I just make an account there, or is that a bad idea?

Make an account for downloading mods but stay away from the forums. They are ultra pozzed and if you try posting anything remotely similar to the kind of shit you post on here you'll be banned in like five seconds.

I think most of us have seen the full version of the opposite speech. I never saw this one before because I couldn't figure out how to beat I Put a Spell on You in his favor before meeting him (you don't - you need to play the NCR version and deliberately fuck it up, at least according to the comments).

I have been thinking about replaying Fallout 1, never made a melee build in the first game
@Gravityqueen4life which mods are you using to run it? You mentioned the Fallout 2 mod, do you have some tutorial how to run it for F1? Last time i played modded F2 was 6 years ago, i can't remember which mods I used. I have the GOG Fallout 1 classic version, i've read there were some issues with that new, censored version GOG is selling right now.

I had no idea some of these bits of dialogue existed. Crazy how it seems every year I still learn more shit about New Vegas. It's the gift that refuses to stop giving.
