The following feature below is going to be added as QoL, if you are not already aware in fallout 1 you have to manually put it how much you want to pay for something with the mouse and in 2 the mouse and keyboard. This would remove a lot of that hassle.
The most current release of the ecco mod was released 2 days ago, adds buffs to the first aid and doctor skill so they are viable as tag skills iirc.

I will never forgive the Slopout show for changing the core anti-war message of the series to the faggy "capitalism is... le BAD!" message. Slopazon can't anger the fucking Wumaos by having them be one of the bad guys.

I think it works out for him though. He (or she) establishes a tribe of vault dwellers who were inspired by him, and found the love of his life and had a family.

Speaking of, I just started a real Fallout 2 playthrough for the first time and completed most of the quests in the first town so far. Doing a sneak/unarmed build with a charismatic women, to keep combat at a minimal. Going to be neutral for the most part, may let her become a porn star (traits are sex appeal and one hander, which is great for unarmed). Writing and general dialogue is good, but there are parts where I see the zanny parts that inspires Bethesda and I hate it just as much. The talking rat kinda threw me off a bit but that's whatever. Golden geckos are a bitch, can't wait to learn to skin em for money.

What's really funny is that in Fallout 4 (probably the only one Amazon slop fans played) the narrator says the main theme of the game "war never changes" and then before the character creator Nate looks into the bathroom mirror and says "war never changes a second time"

Fallout 4 says it fucking twice in the intro and reddit dorks still think the theme is "capitalism bad"

miss important loot.
So much this. It's like Obsidian knew I, specifically, would be playing it and wanted me to be miserable.

On my last run, I killed all the enemies in Salida del Sol South and got most of the loot only to find that the 6 of something playing card had disappeared. Whether it got physicsed somewhere or just vanished because fuck you I can't say. I just know I had to reload and start over. Like I said, always something with that area. And the distorted bell ringing. It's not so bad when you first get there but after a few minutes it's like UUUuuuUUUGHHHhhhH.

The very first time I played DM, Christine opened the door to the vault for me. Every other time she never did it and I had to open the door myself. I distinctly remembered her walking to the microphone and saying "begin again" all these years but I was just starting to think I imagined it. On my last run she actually did it. I still don't know what I did differently.

E: I just realized I actually meant Salida del Sol North. Always something.

Yall niggas are playing Dead Money wrong

1- get crafting recipe for gas bombs
2- craft gas bombs
3- one shot spoopy enemies
Wrong.

1- Find the Sierra Madre snowglobe
2- Use the 2500 chips it gives you to buy a fuckton of stimpaks and .357 ammo for the Police Pistol
3- Become the Sierra Madre's gunslinger lord of death as you pop spoopy heads left and right.

Started up Dead Money in NV for the first time in 9 years. It's easier than I remember it being but I'm less ADHD than I was way back in the day. Navigating the Sierra Madre villas is tedious though.
It will never be as brutal and unforgiving as the first time when you lose all of your gear without warning. Once you know Dead Money in depth you can really prepare as much as possible. Taking perks and implants that offset the cloud damage and lack of healing and knowing where the best items and weapons in all of the Sierra Madre are located and so on.

Yeah that initial shock from when you first start is something else. I was also playing vanilla back in the day. It's a lot different now with mods like Project Nevada installed.

I will say, Project Nevada is pretty shit mainly due to the fact it has many compatibility problems with other mods, some of which you would be suprised of. Not to mention it hasn't been updated in years, so good luck finding compatibility patches for modern mods. You could add similar features separately.
Never liked the default options either, but the one great thing about the mod is the fact that it's pretty configurable.

Also I found this Wasteland Survival Guide that suggests good mods to pair with Tale of Two Wastelands without too many issues. Don't care for all of them like Enchanted Movement.

What are the chances Bethesda will go back on their "the TV show is canon" statement eventually? Because the lore is completely fractured if one considers it so, that includes Bethesda's own as well.

Zero. But how did they butcher their own lore?
