NCRoids will gleefully tell you about le MIC and le guns and tech, disregarding the fact that NCR is like third faction in the desert by power and influence rank. Right behind randomly generated gangsters and the fiends. This behaviour has something to do with trans-inclusive recruitment campaign, i'd reckon..
Even before the whole tranny wave they've been insufferable. Most of the NV community is and was for the most part but damn NCR take the cake. I think it's more so their inability to be creative. They can't roleplay as a Legionary because they are incapable of not seeing themselves in every character they make for example.
Because NCR is THE reddit faction. I've seen screencaps and videos of actual paragraphs of NCR drones there crying about Legion or talking about how House was going to fail because something something capitalism.
I've yet to see a good argument for the NCR that struggles to have a good counter-argument. Hell I rarely see a good argument for the NCR beyond "I like their x, y, and/or z (for example, aesthetic, lore, gameplay, even then that's less a statement and more opinion).
Normies without higher brain functions who think they're "the good guys" because the game throws them in your face all game(cannot comprehend that the game is actually giving you LESS reasons to work with them pretty much every time you interact with them)
Spot on, all these NCRfags think they're the good guys because they didn't actually read the dialogue or if they did, don't understand any underlining motives or subtle narratives. They're the type of people to go "muh corruption" in real life but don't actually know anything that's corrupted and why. Real NCR fans are well aware of this and revel in it, because that's the point. NCRfags will be the first to die in the water wars once the propaganda comes full swing.
Holier than thou moralfag spergs who like to dictate what someone can or cannot say or do. Rules and regulations appeal to them, as does the idea of being "the man" and "civilizing savages/liberating civilians" that don't want them there in the first place
"Legion is le bad. You're not allowed to like them unless you're a sexist bigot." Many such cases, too many. Almost like RP is an enigma to them...these are the same people like the Frontier devs who complained about the Enclave and why you're not allowed to join them. Also "Only we're allowed the civilize the savages, when the Legion does it it's evil because...because it just is!"
People who are military vets or otherwise sympathetic to the army and don't actually care about NCR or their politics but want to alleviate the lives of troops on the frontlines
See, now that I can get behind. These are the actually good people in the NCR, most NCRfags are probably more malicious than the average Fo2 Enclave fan.
I am having trouble making a character that would actually WANT to side with the NCR, which is saying something because I played as a techno-fetishist female Legion courier at one point. My best bet is making a character that's a windmill chaser, always wanting to be the hero and help people out in need, even if it means that these people will be taxed out of their minds and have all their resources taken after the NCR victory.
Lol that Legion character is a living contradiction. Based. Was about to suggest a "happy-go-lucky" NCR recruit who sees the NCR as a true chance of proper civilization, only to get disillusioned throughout the playthrough and become a tough as nails soldier by the end of it.
since Fallout 76 has actual trannies in-game
Mountain "mama." Don't take me home please I rather die.
Whether you're a Bethesda Baby or a Black Isle/Obsidian fanboy, we can all agree and unite under this one flag: we do NOT speak of that trashfire.
Now that's what I'm talking about.
Funny, because /fog/ is mainly just actual F76 trannies posting screencaps of their characters and flirting with each other as if they were on discord, as I posted about here
I haven't been to /fog/ since I got banned for trying to talk about a Fo2 mod. Forgot which. This was years ago.
