Lily from New Vegas?Trannies but instead of injecting hormones they inject FEV
Depends on what mutations you're talking about. Its confirmed that ghouls and wendigos at the very least are caused by radiation and not FEV, both existed before the war. Sheepsquatch as well. Most of the cryptids come to think of it are implied to have existed pre-war30+GameOvers said:Radiation isn't what makes big scary mutated animals, it's the trace amounts of FEV in the air that linger on in the atmosphere after the nuking of West Tek facility in California aka The Glow from Fallout 1. The FEV, along with radiation, turned various critters big and mean. Radiation isn't magic pixie dust that turns people into fish no matter how much Bethesda or the COLON team wants it to be, so that's why I am asking. This may be my biggest turn off if it's not properly explained, despite all the gay shit they put in and how unfinished everything generally is.
Yeah, Ghouls are pretty much the only beings entirely effected by radiation, altho with how Bethesda butchered them lately I wouldn't look for anything past New Vegas as a reference. Most other critters, like Radscorpions(and other giant insects), Mirelurks, Radstags, Mole Rats and Geckos are a result of regular animals mutating over time thanks to the FEV, which also gives them the immunity or at least resistance to radiation. Then you have creatures that were the direct result of FEV experiments instead of natural mutations, like Super Mutants, Deathclaws or Wanamingos. Big MT seems to have produced their own little abominations, FEV or not, such as Lobotomites, Cazadores, Nightstalkers and potentially the Spore Carriers/Spore Plants. Lastly, we have Yao Guai, which are a special case: Much like humans who are exposed to radiation turn to Ghouls, pre war bears turn into Yao Guai. There has to be more to this, as they have to reproduce, but I am willing accept that these ones were actually mutated by radiation. Nuka World also has Ghoul Gorillas, so we know Ghoulification can occur in animals. We don't know how much, if at all, FEV played part in creating mutated creatures that don't seem to be resistant to radiation, such as Brahmin, Giant Rats, and various mutated animals from Nuka World. I have no clue about the cryptids as the less I think about Fallout 76 the better.Depends on what mutations you're talking about. absolute jerk fest in the comments
wasnt there some debate from devs on the fev thing? either way i think the virus stuff mutating everything or most things is only marginally more believable and probably wouldnt stand up to much more scrutiny and is thematically kinda redundant and contrived in that instead of the governments negligence ignorance cruelty and folly ruining the world via radiation from a war that spiraled out of control ... instead the same except its because of a virus they created and radiation from a war spiraled out of control.Of course, if you know jack shit about these games or you think you do because you watched a few Oxhorn "lore" videos, you will think that everything is created by radiation because haha funny 50s parody game with nukes and nuka cola!
Not even the Great War could change the Thames. The Thames is radioactive as fuck in this mod, there is a flooded area not long after the Fish people and stepping in the water gives you 347+ rads a second.
Per Ghoulification, the New Plague plays a part in it IIRC. Something about carriers of the disease exposed to an immense amount of radiation all at once undergo ghoulification. Thought it was in the FOB, but couldn’t find it. It’s a sad fucking day that cryptids and aliens are its own thing in FO now. The Dunwich Building was a total mistake.Yeah, Ghouls are pretty much the only beings entirely effected by radiation, altho with how Bethesda butchered them lately I wouldn't look for anything past New Vegas as a reference. It's just a disease from before the war. From what I understand, the development for a cure is what helped kick start the FEV research. So what exactly is the New Plague ? I've played Point Lookout but i didn't really see much lore for it
Fallout bible mentions it on several occasions, iirc. It's just a disease from before the war. From what I understand, the development for a cure is what helped kick start the FEV research.
It's actually quite a bit better than fallout 4 so I can compliment the FO London team at least. There are checks for Intelligence, Charisma, and Strength that I've found so far. What is the mod like in terms of roleplaying? I've seen that they've brought back Intelligence speech checks, which is cool
You are correct, this is from the mod page confirming the files were MANUALLY reviewed for an exe file that reads quite a bit of data, I archived the page in case they change their mind later about wanting to dump peoples info by "accident"Why did the FOLON Team not just use a system to detect a legit copy of FO4 like Wabbajack and install a prebuilt version? I can only see some data leak with tons of steam logins up for grabs in the next few months because of this lol

It was a major plot point in cancelled Interplay's Fallout 3 \ Van Buren, you can read about it in leaked design docs.So what exactly is the New Plague ? I've played Point Lookout but i didn't really see much lore for it
"I like Fallout 4 soo much I made it like a generic 2020's FPS"
not a huge fan of this guy but he makes some ok points.
i mean its an accurate introduction, if you don't like the dialogue then you're fucked. isn't this also when the DLCs all start scaling the characters to your level? that shit's bullshit.a nearly 30 min. conversation should be one's introduction to the DLC?
The same way the Original California Republic can just give the "stretched too thin" answer to anyone not on the coast of the state when they whine about a lack of resources. a fuck load of provincial mindsets at the capital where they genuinely don't give a fuck what happens in NV, even the troops themselves admit most of the force is "chasing ghosts" down in Mexico. NCR could have easily captured NV and Hoover Dam and knocked out the Legion easily if the bureaucracy didn't fuck them. by all accounts the NCR presence in the NV area is made up of their version of the Coast Guard or National Guard; mostly just the lower tier troops. If you really want to show how absurd this whole thing is remember how quickly the Vault Dweller and Chosen One were able to run all over California and now realize that means at minimum your average new person could probably just fucking walk to New Vegas in less than a month. The sole reason they don't is red tape. Why is NCR stretched too thin?
fallout 3 in general is way smaller than you'd remember from running around as a kid. there are way less locations and if you have a good map the metro isn't some absurd labyrinth., way more than I recall when I played them to completion as a kid
they aren't as much of a problem as i remember, in the villa most of them are actual radios or ham radios you can shut off or destroy. although maybe thats some change from a mod i installed with viva new vegas. When I heard a speaker beeping
why? the tv show changed the canon so everything he said about the other guy was 100% on the money. In a way the TV show changed him to the Josh Moon of the Fallout universe: An asshole with an ego who hated the exact right people for the exact right reasons and did everything in his power to stop them and post-war was relatively content being constantly hunted by monsters.dean deserves to die, honestly
