It's the most open ending in the game.
Of course troons and pseuds gonna like it.

I liked that ending for a long time 'cus of hating all the main forces of the game.
Now i'm a true & based Mr. House enjoyer.
I think either Yes Man or Mr. House are the ideal endings. NCR or Legion annexing the entire Mojave just sounds like shit to me, the inhabitants lose a lot of freedom either way and they become merely an extension of some foreign imperialistic entity.

But on the opposite end, that newfound freedom doesn't necessarily mean protection.

I've been told by people who don't play fallout that he is woke
"I don't enjoy killing, but when done righteously it is a chore like any other."
"First, do not believe that because Daniel is a missionary he is incapable of or unwilling to defend himself. Second, if you harm Daniel or any of the Sorrows or Dead Horses, I will find you. Make no mistake. God willing, you will not leave this valley. Lastly, waging war against good people is bad for the soul. This may not seem important to you now, but it's the most important thing I've said."
"I pray for the safety of all good people who come to Zion, even Gentiles, but we can't expect God to do all the work."

How can you hear these phrases and think "lol woke". The zoomers should be stoned to death.
-overengineered reload animations with absurd "bouncing" which last 3 times longer than they should. I'm talking about Hitman47101 in particural, you can tell this guy never held a gun in his life.
That's why you download Rockbiter's reload mods. They're engineered to not take 2000 hours while still looking sort of nice.
Also fuck you, reload animations are free dopamine for me.

You can't stop me. I will replace every vanilla asset with its recreated classic fallout equivalent.
Sorry, but all the mods look like dogcrap. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea and there exists some good replacers like the sentry bots. But ones like the Mr. Handy and Robobrains look horrible. I'll stick with Vanilla models until someone makes a good one that isn't either made 5 minutes ago in Blender or uses ULTRA 8K LE DELUX SHINY PBR TEXTURS

I just like the one that replaces the combat amor.

What makes you think NV modding is a matter of need?
A lot? There are certain things that I have issues with and I have means to fix them. I mean yes, obviously NV doesn't really NEED mods, but it has its fair issues. but I do think Fallout modding is best when focused on being vanilla. If your content is indistinguishable from vanilla, its an A+ mod in my book.

I'd also say that if you haven't played vanilla NV then you don't really "get" modding and cannot fully understand it. Its like Brutal Doom versus vanilla Doom. To certain point, you're not even playing NV anymore. It also doesn't help that more often than not mod count correlates to how insufferable someone is to interact with.

I'd like FO4's power armor if it weren't for the feet. The big stompy elephant feet might be more "realistic" but they don't look as slick.
I take issue with the hands mostly, I'm not opposed to the robot hands but I would've preferred if only the default rusty versions used it while B versions and above used the gloves from FO3.

The Videogame of Theseus. How different from vanilla New Vegas can you mod it, yet still call it New Vegas?

You people are like little babies. I spend 15 years modding New Vegas and yet I am currently playing the xbox 360 unmodded copy for shits and giggles. Unlike Fallout 3, you can easily jump into vanilla New Vegas surprisingly well, the game is rather balanced and if you ignore the constant bugs and technical issues, works just fine. Goes to show you what a difference it makes for your game to be made by talented people who actually know how CRPGs work, vs people who only know how to make one game and make it worse everytime until we get a disaster like Starfield.

I should've specified beyond qol stuff. NV obviously requires less modding than something like FO4, because NV doesn't suck.

I've been playing NV since it came out, mate. I got it on the 360 for Christmas. I wouldn't mod it unless I knew the game like the back of my hand. It isn't like I download 200 waifu tacticool tiddy mods that's what Fallout 4 is for. I just enjoy flashy animations that aren't too impractical, the fanmade recreations of Fallout 1/2 armor sets, the AK-112, and Someguy2000.
