Fallout series

The new TTW is pure slop, so I don't even pay attention to the current TTW modding scene. All I can tell you is that people have been intentionally deleting old TTW version mods and Roy has been trying to delete links to old TTW versions. He got very asshurt that people didn't like the new version so he's trying to shove it down everyone's throat, and everybody in the modding community is falling in line with it since I guess being they're nigger cattle. Any community that intentionally erases it's own history doesn't deserve to be remembered or taken seriously.
Wow, I never thought the Fallout modding community could out-retard itself after The Frontier, but SURPRISE SURPRISE SURPRISE!

This has been going on for longer than Frontier, I don't know why people want to delete old mods or frown upon other people archiving them but that's how it is. I heard it's even worse in the Skyrim modding community.

Are you tried Wasteland Survival Guide?
I did for NV. It's good for a Vanilla+ experience, but I wanted something a bit more radical in its changes.

How come people don't like the new TTW versions? Just some bullshit additions or has he broke it?

The most strange part of it, is Nexusmod had the option to just move old files in a download section called "old files".
Many modders do that with the classic motto: "I don't support this version anymore".
But shitheads like Arthmoor exists.

Complete and utter fanfic with loads of bloat. Older versions were much better since they were not just more faithful to original Fallout 3 but also more balanced. What changes were added made sense considering it was now part of Fallout New Vegas, new weapons added to leveled lists and integrated new features and what have you. The new release is completely incomprehensible and unbalanced compared to older builds not to mention much buggier and less stable, and I am not the only one who noticed. Roy got so tired of people asking him where the old version of mods were and if they would be compatible with the older versions that he simply deleted the old version of the TTW mods on his forum and made it a mandate for other modders to do the same. Now, everyone only makes mods for the newest releases and actively hides or deletes their older versions, it is looked down upon to ask for links to older releases of the same mod since you are using "outdated" version of TTW. Real niggercattle mindset, Roy can go to hell.

Many old mods are straight up not available on nexus anymore since "outdated" releases were deleted and never remade for the newest version of TTW. It makes it a pain in the ass to look for older mods that might not be backed up anywhere else.

Vanilla Plugins Plus+ - Some AutismoGOD has broken the Plugin limit on Fallout New Vegas without any hacks, however the sperg Xilandro behind vehicles from Fallout: The Frontier is feeling threatened... Archive.org / GECK Wiki documentation

This Brony avatar who actually pays for Nexus Premium (LMAO) explains the importance of this pretty well.

Found from Rdrama.net :
Long story short, this mod will allow you to break through New Vegas's plugin limit of 137 (255 with existing fixes and workarounds, none of which are fool proof) and a couple of other nice added benefits. However, an admittedly brilliant neurodivergent modder who worked on the largest and most ambitious NV mod to date, The Frontier, shows up and stinks the place up with his severe lack of social skills. Oh, and FYI, The Frontier was the mod that a bunch of Furries ruined because they tried to sneakily and openly add P*do shit and some other random crap like being able to have s*x with Death Claws...
Massive slapfight between Nexusmods users and Xilandro tries to argue "modding best practice and GPL" lol It's luck to catch these screencaps since he's just deleted his commet threads lol

That bit about plugins is interesting. Now I understand why so many mods/modpacks had a "bundle deal" approach recommended for installation.

Archiving that new file, I checked if there is anything new. Check this out
I linked that Van Buren playlist a few pages back, and Revelation Blues is the NV based project to recreate Van Buren. This is their Burham Springs demo, that location was the direct inspiration for Powder Gangers in New Vegas right down to Vault 19's sulfur caves being a dungeon similar to the mines in BS. Hopefully this project won't die off like the Unreal Engine one.

Has anyone here tried the new Uranium Fever modlist for TTW? Not sure whether to go for that one or Begin Again. Been a long time since I've played TTW
Tried Uranium Fever, it's broken and buggy to all hell, unbalanced to all hell, jannies and the dev(s) sweep complaints and ban complainers so nothing gets done, memory leaks, crashes, developer(s) barely spent any time making sure shit worked to begin with, lack of patches makes everything feel slapped on, etc. On the plus side, lack of patches makes it easily modifiable if you want to spend time unfucking it for whatever reason.
Begin Again is far more polished. Have not tried Wasteland Survival Guide but have not heard great things, last I heard the original dev went on vacation and let someone else maintain it, that person had no idea what they were doing or what the original vision was so it kept changing constantly which annoyed people, especially people trying to document shit, write guides, and fix bugs. Original dev came back, went "what the hell is this?" And then went ahead to unfucking his mod list. Can't have shit in the Mojave unless you do it yourself, then you spend more time modding and fixing then player. Also lol the duality of man with @Chieftain Coke Peanut's post above me.

Here. This is what I came up withView attachment 7044254

You forgot to go with female to seal the disaster package lol
So, what's everyone's thoughts on Joshua Graham? I like the guy, personally; see a lot of positivity for him just about everywhere. Shame that the tv show butchered him, from what I've heard...

He wasnt in the TV series and I legit hope they never do. Knowing their track record, they will reveal Zion was destroyed because Hank farted a silent plot nuke fart. And that he killed Graham easily.

As for him, he is a well written character. Audiences do enjoy watching villains becoming good guys and Graham has some of that. He has a striking design that is a visual representation of his character arc. His faith is written in a way that it doesnt feel preachy, he doesnt try to force his beliefs on you but he makes it clear that it is one of the things that saved him from the man he used to be and thus he shall stand by it. And he says it all with such mature conviction and faith that you almost cant help but start to believe yourself. Its sadly getting rare to see actual positive depictions of christianity (I wonder why...) and christian characters and Graham is an example of those being written very well.

He has some Jules energy from Pulp Fiction, a bad man spared by God for reasons he wants to understand (but knows he never will) and wants to do good with this second chance by becoming a "shepard" to the vulnerable and weak.

He is so involved with the plot that some people say that Honest Hearts feels less like a chapter in Courier's story but a chapter in Graham's that the Courier happens to be in it. And thats surprisingly a good thing.

Even those that do not like Honest Hearts much still play it to pay him a visit and help him with his tribe's problems because, again, they do like him that much.
Why do Yes Man fans have a certain aura about them? I can't really describe the phenotype too well, but the whole anarchy in the Mojave seems to be a thing with troons and pseuds.

Yes Man fans tend to be either the most based MFs in existence or the cringest soy beta cucks straight from Reddit.

There is no in between

Didn't he do some pretty epic 40k stuff as well, or am I misremembering?
Yeah, that's partly why I called him a weak Korean.
>Makes great 40k animations
>GW does their "ultimatum" (that they never followed through)
>Specifics are iffy from here on out
>SODAZ complies, showing the corporate message of "I've been signed on to work with GW and I'm really excited" despite never talking like that, same exact one as Astartes IIRC (I have my own issues with that faggot)
>Fans understandably lament
>Suddenly he deleted that video and didn't explain what was going on
>Fans understandably are confused and want an explanation
>He pussied out to GW's program, then he pussied out of GW's program due to fan backlash
>Makes community post
>"No more Warhammer, stop harrasing me" or some shit
>What little interactions he had with fans is now completely gone, removed all Warhammer videos but doesn't seem to care about reuploads

Having interacted with Koreans before, this is strangely common. Dumb decision, bashlash, sperging and pussying out, blames and resents everyone around them and stops communicating to people.

There is a reason why their country has been taken over by a feminist cult. Korean men love globalist cum more than any other asian nation, you know if the entire existence of K-Pop wasn't a dead enough giveaway.
Funnily enough, I can't recall a single instance where Korea was mentioned in the Fallout universe so we can assume it's an irrelevant shithole there as well. Probably absorbed by China if they've been annexing nations like US has.

That feminist shit over there is why I'm against new wave feminism over here. They got it the worst, it's genuinely insane how awful it is over there and I understand why they have shit bricks over anything even remotely related to it. I remember this one crazy bitch who got into the anime industry over there and would draw 1 frame of the "Megalia" hand sign at least once in everything they'd make. It gets so bad that an artist for Maplestory got death threats because S.Koreans thought the artist used said hand sign. Also don't read too much into that article, it's the BBC and we all know their agenda. Project Moon also got ass blasted at one point because of how volatile S.Koreans are (no I have no idea what's going on, I only play/played LC and Ruina since Limbus is mobile slop).
S.Koreans are either submissive little faggots who'll pussy out over minor shit or go absolutely ballistic and mass attack whatever got them mad in the first place. Either way they're creatures of extreme, in a "French in a war vs French in a revolution" sort of way.

Lol I don't even think they had the Korean War, just the Resource War which was a more global thing. Otherwise I don't think Korea is even mentioned in a Fallout game. I know Josh Sawyer said that the only thing that stayed consistent between our timeline and Fallout's was the Kennedy assassination. There's more fan work for Korea than official work.

I feel like a bit of an oddball for liking FO4 the most of the 3D Fallouts just because I can build robots (via the Automatron DLC).

I'd say New Vegas ties with it too but I enjoy it for different reasons (really feels like a CYOA story that successfully got a video game adaptation).
Fallout 4 is a much more accessible game. You can pick it up and fuck around like you're playing Gmod because the story and characters are shit so there's nothing to care about. NV's story is actually really interesting, even at its most mind-numbing (Come Fly With Me, My Kind of Town) it feels like something you have to really lock in for, to steal a zoomer turn of phrase.

Come Fly With Me is so much more enjoyable when you realize you can just kill the ghouls. No, they're not immortal like in a Bethesda RPG altho you don't get quest XP for sending them into space or blowing up their rockets(honestly, 800XP is not worth the hassle) but if you're doing this for Manny, he won't care and he will let you progress the main quest forward. Protip: Tell them the Nightkin are cleared out and then let a few of them leave. Sometimes, the game will glitch and instead of teleporting, you will see them physically run to the basement, if so they will change into their Space Suits and let you get multiple copies, for selling or what have you. Problem is that this isn't consistent, once I got every single ghoul to travel directly and recently I only got 2-3 max, usually just one.

I'm too much of a carebear roleplayer to fuck with that. The Man With No Name wouldn't let those ghouls die and neither will I.

Way I see it, the ghouls are crazy and letting them simply fly away with extremely valuable pre war technology is a no-go, that's why I don't even bother blowing up the rockets. Bullets are cheaper, either way, and people of Novac can put this scrap to good use even if you aren't going for the House route where he will likely use them in his bid to bring mankind into space. It is his property, after all.
The only downside here, aside from losing out on 800XP, is that if you don't send the ghouls into space you always get a bad ending for Novac. Oh well, I don't care, I guess we need some casualties so we can feel better about ourselves when we roll over the Legion.
