That's all it takes for certain people to latch onto that characteristic and rewrite public perception about it. Same with Arcade.
I replaying F:NV right now. Only once and only if you ask her "even in love?" and keeping the topic.
Arcade just mention something about his gayness if you have Confirmed Balechor perk (which makes you gay too).

I myself am not bothered by it, even if I find it repulsive. Because like you said its barely even mentioned at all, and you really wouldn't even notice it unless went out of your way to ask. Christine barely even mentions it either. Almost like they knew how to write characters whose sole trait wasn't just being gay.

It irritates me because it makes discussion impossible pretty much everywhere because its either "OMG SO LOVELY GAY QWEEN LGTBBQ RIGHTS FR" or "FAGGOTFAGGOTFAGGOT" and no in-between. Trannies latched on NV and Fallout as a whole even though to be honest the gay stuff is really not that prevalent in any of the games. But like always, give them an inch and they take a mile.

And it could've all been avoided if those lines didn't exist.

Well, the same game when you fuck but not romance characters.
Degenerancy at this finest.

Eric making Veronica a Lesbo has done irreversible damage to any conversation around her character. I cannot stand the alphabet people man.
So it's that, but not her being voiced by Felicia Day that's the real crime?

You really should stop hanging around tranny tourists and synthetic man fans. Most of the fanbase doesn't give a fuck, and most trannies/faggots are on bethesda's side of the line anyways.

P.S. SODAZ posted more Kino
I wish it actually has a purpose. Like her ex Christine is in Dead Money and they're big parts of each others backstories. Why not have them reunite or do something with that? Or have your choices in the main game ACTUALLY effect what goes on with Christine?

Otherwise I couldn't care less, she's pretty boring to have as a companion.

I couldn't care less about that since I have no clue who she is and for the most part she's easily one of the best VAs in the game, which it should be given she's a companion.

I don't, but when I do unfortunately run into either parties they are so over-the-top obnoxious about it and it irritates me. I said earlier I try to keep as far away from the FO fanbase as possible, this is one of the reasons why.

When it comes down it they wouldn't have been able to because of something about DLC interaction with the base game world not being feasible, mostly thanks to consoles (thanks, PS3). Dead Money's development also probably didn't have time to spare for something relatively minuscule like that. Like with everything in the Fallout games, its a case of "what if?"

Of the 3 girl companions I'd say she's the best. Yeah yeah, what about Lily or whatever.

I think it's a little disingenuous to call Veronica and Arcade pozzed when Veronica's sexuality amounts to a single line, and Arcade you only learn the sexuality of if you purposefully opt your character in to being gay themselves.

I've never met a single person who cares who wasn't party of the troonsquad. It's the most nothingburger inclusion of gay characters I've ever seen.

Both of them are fantastic companions either way, it'd be a shame to reduce them to just their sexualities. Imo that's the type of inclusion media should strive for.

Na, during For Auld Lang Syne right after you talk with Daisy Whitman in Novac he mentions that there have been men in his life but that lovers make for poor confidants. And when you ask how he learned Latin he mentions gladiator holotapes, but considering that he's got way more depth to his character than Veronica who I primarily associate with "LET ME PUNCH THINGS" over homosexuality, there's nothing the least bit wrong with his writing.
Otherwise I couldn't care less, she's pretty boring to have as a companion.
Yeah, Cass is way more fun to have around, especially if you use the mod that fixes her skills to match her dialogue.

She was one of the most obnoxious "gamer girl" grifters that were popular in the late 2000s and early 2010s in the wake of Big Bang Theory. She's tumblr as fuck and shares a thread here along with Wil Wheaton.
It's a bygone era, but that doesn't make her any less awful today, just less relevant. Veronica isn't a bad character by any means, but you can tell that she is one of Felicia Day's trademark "quirky" characters and sticks out like a sore thumb sometimes. Her fixation on punching things or the dress borders one-note Bethesda characters like "the nuka cola girl" who can just talk about one singular thing and come off as cartoon characters more than real people. The only thing that saved Veronica was her main quest, which does a good amount of heavy lifting in humanizing her and The Brotherhood.

Just the mere existence of faggots(and women) in the game already marks it woke by people who largely didn't even play a minute of it. It's just a phase zoomies are going thru, not like they have any good games to play so all they can do is complain about older ones.

What's broken with her stats, exactly?

You say that, but Raul is the best overall.
Na, can't equip him with the Armor of the 87th without him constantly complaining about his back. Or try to sneak because he'll also complain about his knees.
Craig Boone facts: Craters on the moon aren't caused by asteroids, they're caused by Craig Boone's morning target practice.
He's no Garrus, but he's close.
What's broken with her stats, exactly?
In her dialogue she mentions being good with her fists thanks to bar fights and explosives thanks to needing to clear passes or scare off wildlife while on the trail, but the skills she's tagged with are Guns, Melee Weapons and Sneak. The mod changes that so she's tagged with Guns, Unarmed, and Explosives.

Like the post above this one says comparing anyone to Garrus is just unfair, no one does any calibrations on their equipment to optimize and maximize their accuracy and range like him.
Fair enough. Not even EDI could out-optimize him.

That's unfair. No one else is on Garrus' level.

The female human xenophobic army wife could do this too. And honestly it fits better in with her story.

I somehow failed to get laid even once in the trilogy so I redid it, aiming only for the army wife who gets a karen haircut and fat fake tits in the third one. Honestly a good story, and being loyal to a single character across 3 games was oddly redeeming. Ignore all the thots and stick to your own species.
