I like complaining, speculating, and complaining about my speculations.Oh God, they got that annoying jeet with the gay voice
The Kings are here. They appear to just to be zombies who are just doing Elvis mannerisms as a result of muscle memory. I'd be surprised if there's any reverence for them whatsoever in the show. They were probably one of the only neutral good factions in NV alongside the Followers of the Apocalypse so unless the more contentious Legion or House, there's little wiggle room to shit on them for simply being. They're probably reduced to being comedically dressed zombies in the show, expect some bloviating from redditors who'll describe it was "tragic" instead of insulting.

This guy, who was probably the only other good part of season 1, actually appears in this trailer. I expect from this smile he's either going to destroy every single one of those pods, which'd probably not be entirely wrong morally assuming all the occupants are in on having a turn as some petty tyrant in the post-apocalypse over a few hundred people. This is the Fallout show, so trying to discuss the morality of it is moot. Given this might appear to be an "evil" smile, maybe he's up to something infinitely more retarded, and is going to try and become Big Brother or something - an overboss of the unfrozen.

The vegetation could mean Vault 22, but the look of a building beyond the door make make it the Fiend-occupied Vault 3 - sans any Fiends. This makes the vines on the walls rather odd then.

Black and white screen with somewhat gravelly voice - possibly a super mutant. I'm gonna guess he ties into eventual Enclave stuff and the impetus after catching the dad is to deal with them, the mutant joining side to "liberate" his brethren. Another point to it being a super mutant is that the voice sounds like how Strong or that scientist guy sound in Fallout 4.

They have four of these things. This is only tenable if the East Coast Brotherhood has basically restarted something akin to the pre-war industrial sectors or something. I can only speculate the Washington Brotherhood recaptured the Pitt or something, which given they've had a decade of no competition out there is actually plausible. For the show they probably gave them so many just so we can watch one blow up, or maybe several. I'll give the show +1 point if it's done via one of House's anti-nuke measures (inb4 a single rocket fired by a random Legion member).
I'm also not that familiar with the Mojave, does it actually look like the sand dunes of Egypt or the Sahara? I thought it was flatter but maybe it does in places. I'm going to speculate that the building we see in the middle is the Power Ganger prison.

Nice fit. I hope you get more than 8 minutes of screentime.

Vault 31 in the show is where all the frozen people were being held. I'm gonna guess he unfreezes all of them and tries to start living up on the surface. The retarded version is he does this tricking them into thinking it's ascension day and this is just a means to kill them all; alternatively he's going to take a good crack at it, or he fell for the "society of managers" nonsense and is doing just that and we'll see them all die comedically as management =/= survival. This could also be the wham shot for the end of his arc and we'll see in season 3 he created some sort of quasi-fascist, highly ordered society or some other dumb shit.
In isolate him standing next to the half-buried car is pretty good. I feel like I've seen it before, or it's paying homage to something.

Fucking hell.

He's actually in the season 2 teaser trailer in the Vertibird. I'm guessing he dies sometime after this shot or he essentially becomes the black dude's new Knight.

Could be wrong, but doesn't this mean House got the platinum chip and installed the upgrades?

Fuck! This is possibly the worst outcome then: House won but still lost. If he lost due to asspull bullshit (like the nuke that took out shady sands) I'd consider it less insulting than if he won but was all talk and Vegas fell to shit under his watch and rule. Given he's alive (possibly won Hoover Dam) + The Kings exist still, mean things fell to shit with both him and the Kings around. Again, somewhat forgivable if there's an asspull involved. Another highly speculative option is they went NCR ending, they were forced to pull out due to nuke, and House had a backup or something. There's a way they could do this in a way that'd satisfy me, where the in-game House was the real one but the one we see here is a copy or something. They can have their cake and eat it to: Have Mr House, but not our Mr House.
Another complaint: the image isn't static. It's just gonna be House's actor with a green filter overlaid his video. When they do shit like this I can never tell whether it's the actor being uppity that the audience isn't seeing their face or the studio/showrunner thinking it'd detract from the scene or something. It's reminiscent to how Marvel gave Iron Man nanotech as an excuse to have RDJ having more facetime.

Legion Camp. At least it's not a total mess in layout, there's some actual organisation here.

An explosion. There's no people in view, so they were either edited out digitally to avoid spoilers, or the Legion are using mining explosives to dig somewhere. If this is still where the camp was in-game then the only conceivable location is House's bunker.

Culkin. That's also a straight up Legionnaire helmet. I could see them maybe finding one in some museum or something. We've seen more typical Legion-wear in the other trailer so maybe this is what the higher ranks wear or something? It's plausible given what Lanius wears meaning complex metallurgy isn't beyond the Legion's capabilities but a 1:1 Roman helmet seems out of place.
If Culkin is Caesar, I really hope they do the bare minimum and not make him retarded. If this is him killing one of his top generals because the general was like, "We shouldn't do this dumb thing," then you can already write things off more than they already were.

Just another thing I noticed. The explosion in the season 2 trailer is the car on fire in the season 2 teaser.

Freeside is alive (making Vegas being fucked over is confusing). The Silver Rush is on the left there. The guy in power armour is also wearing a NCR Ranger helmet. I can't find a picture of someone wearing that outfit in-game bizarrely (Ranger helmet + Brotherhood armour).

It at least looks marginally less like Fallout 3 in terms of post-apocalypse society. No trash on the streets for one (far as we can see). Looks more Wild West though. Freeside no longer being a shithole after some point is something I can see happening given there could be a spillage of prosperity out from Vegas with enough time and without the Mojave being a warzone. I hope they don't make it too zany but that's asking too much I know, especially given Doc Brown is right there.
Goggins is wearing the face of someone who can't comprehend civilisation returning post-apocalypse i.e. the face Emil Pagliaro wears whenever playing a Fallout game he wasn't involved in.

Bitrate shat itself here for some reason. I guess Freeside and the areas around the Strip are fine but The Strip itself is fucked. Only opportunity here to make House not a for-evil retard is that he helped get people out using the securitrons + aid of the Kings so things weren't utterly fucked. If they can have it be so Mr House isn't an evil retard then I'm content.

Ultra-Lux. Also points off from my previous comment about trash-free streets - burning barrels and wrecked cars, still. No rubbish on the ground though and flattened earth from foot traffic is decent. Makes you wander where the hell the road or sidewalks went. I can't tell if this is inside Freeside or at the gates of Vegas.

Quality wise, similar to all the best parts of Season 1, there's probably going to be a repeat here. Any scene without Lucy/Black dude is probably going to be more watchable than the scenes involving them. I'd be surprised if they took aboard any criticism whatsoever and toned back the retardation but I know I'm hoping for too much.
