Fallout series

i dont give a fuck about the tv show and whatever it ruins about the game lore. i wont watch a single second of that abomination and after this run hell maybe i will do another run in a few years using my ps3 copy

It has issues but so do all of the DLCs, I would say I like it the least, but by no means is it bad.
That's the thing, it is my favorite of the four, with Lonesome Road taking the last slot due to being a wholly linear experience with no unique gameplay or interesting quests.

South Korean animator SODAZ, known for his high-quality SFM action films in settings such as Warhammer 40k, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., and Halo, has fully released his heavily-anticipated 45+ minute SFM film depicting the siege of the Brotherhood-held Helios One by the New California Republic (NCR) in the events preceding Fallout: New Vegas. The full movie took 2 years and 8 months to produce.

We are so back to getting that nuclear winter.

For context, SODAZ is mainly known for his Warhammer 40k fan works, which made up 95% of his popularity, Games Workshop (GW), a British publisher that owns the Warhammer 40k IP, forcibly pressured SODAZ to join the company and to delete all his 40k films during a series of crackdowns by GW on fan works, such as the fan series Astartes. After SODAZ agreed in public, GW soon ghosted him, leaving SODAZ to deal with mass backlash from fans accusing him of "selling out." SODAZ left GW out of anger and gave up animating 40k films due to copyright threats and pressure from an extremely toxic community, to the point where he almost gave up animating as a career. Ultimately, SODAZ pursued animating fan films of other game franchises that interested him and rebuild his channel from there with Titanfall, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., and Halo. With the release of his effort-heavy Fallout: New Vegas fan film, it's amazing his SODAZ managed to bounce back from rock bottom.

I really appreciate the usage of some of the FO4 assets like Power armor and laser weaponry, not everything was a complete crapshoot in the art design. Using "Ad Victoriam" was nice too.

also RIP Hunting Shotgun Veteran, gone but not forgotten

Lots of "rule of cool" moments in the animation but overall its very well made, especially for a fan production. SODAZ is very skilled at what they do.

Hello? Peak department?

So big guns were just two handed guns
Cause i wouldnt really call a hunting rifle a big gun
That's interesting because this is the system Fallout Sonora uses. For what it's worth, Outer Worlds also divided it's weapons between one and two handed categories but also got a 5th extra skill for heavy ranged weapons, aka Big Guns. Not sure which format is the best one to use, frankly I like what retail New Vegas did since there is a bigger distinction between Guns and Energy Weapons vs Small Guns/Energy Weapons and Big Guns. I wonder if they were going to experiment with several different Speech derivative skills like with Van Buren and Outer Worlds, or if there was always going to be one universal Speech Skill.

Here is a thought: how do the perklists look like? Did the effects or level/skill requirements changed? Do we still have these awful perks that just give +5 to a skill(alongside the cut Survivalist perk)? I assume we already have a 2 level perk rate by that point.
Since the New Vegas dev builds are still a hot topic, Triangle City has been discussing them and posting screenshots/findings from them on his youtube community tab, and is clearly planning to do a video about the dev builds.
Yup, strike while the iron is hot and grift your way into the algorithm while you can. If he wanted to, he could release a video like this any time over the last 4 years, he doesn't care. I know I keep harping on about him, but I absolutely despise all these hoarders who pretend they don't have any exclusive, rare builds and actively guard any knowledge they might contain in their secret club discords. Hopefully, now that the cat is out of the bag, the other "collectors" will come forward and release more builds.
