Christ, how many numbers did these retards take?
Vaults named pre Bethesda fallout:4 (7 if you count the demo vault from 1,prototype vault from Tactics and corporate vault from bos) 12,8,13,15
Vaults named in new vegas:7 (3,11,17,19,21,22,34)
Vaults named in 3/4/76/show:22(24 if you count a non numbered vault mentioned in 4 and a second mentioned in 76) 87,92,101,108,112,75,81,95,111,114,118,88,29,51,63,76,79,94,96,106,31,4
Watched this trailer before I started another Fallout 4 run. I just can't help but smile every time I see the reveal at the end of a voiced PC and I can just feel through the screen how proud Bethesda was of that fact.
Fallout 4 has great trailers, probably some of my favorites and it most likely affected my opinions on 4 lol.
76 only has that first trailer with the dwellers walking past the power armor, that's great, rest are kinda mid.

She seemed primed to be an early game companion though I honestly wished we had a Powder Ganger companion
Powder gangers are just underbaked in general, Idk if this was ever planned but I kind of wish they were large enough in scale content wise to be considered for the main quest line like Yes Man, NCR could've used them for another stage in FTRP2, plus you could do use that as a way to do the prison raid quest without having to help the gangers first.

They drop the ball on games sometimes but they do have a great marketing department, or did, for 3 and 4 at least.

Also unrelated but I saw this when I started FO4 today and I felt like I was losing my mind

76 will never be good, it's just a mindless grind-a-thon. If you're into that sort of thing, fine, but you can get the similar experience by just playing Fallout 4, a game which has mods and actual single player content, with it's endless radiant quests if you're that easily amused. 76 doesn't even have any social features to speak of.
I have the perfect strain of autism for 76 as its my comfy game of choice, helps that by this point I've made builds for doing any and all content and crafting/upgrading anything and I'll need. Definitely won't deny its flaws or defend it like a fanboy but then again I wouldn't be here if I was.
I don't play 76 for the narrative. I play it for the huge map and awesome setting, the gameplay variety, and the fact you can play with friends.
Yeah, I'd probably seethe about others enjoying 76 if I didn't have any friends either.
I like taking pictures of people's camps and making it part of my loading screen collection :)
One of the bigger issues I had with 76 when I tried playing it was the material system. The game encourages you to build up your CAMP with the various objects you pick up, just like Fallout 4.
Also encourages you to channel your inner capitalist and set up a store. Undercut the competition then just reload your server and undercut there lol.
Plus, in the previous games, you could repair your guns on the fly. In 76, you also need to repair them at a weapon workbench specifically. So it just results in a lot of fast traveling to your CAMP to repair stuff since all the workbenches in the world are so sporadically placed.
This is why you're supposed to use other people's camps or the ones at the main event locations like the nuke world on tour area.
If you dont steal people's shit you can just bum off their stations lol.

You can really hear the age in Wayne Newton's voice here but you got several new Mr New Vegas lines in here, usually following a couple of Christmas-themed songs. The written-in stores are the same vein as the Fallout show so they're pretty poor but the remarks expressing fondness for the listener are pretty much just New Vegas. "Contemporary wasteland rap." Vgh

Someone in the comment section already went through the trouble of timestamping when they're played if you just want to hear them.

The Mass Effect wheel wasn't perfect but operated very well for what it was.
The Mass Effect wheel wasn't any better than what Fallout 4 has, it was just as limiting and confusing and similarly impacted the writing of that game. Mass Effect was a casual RPG aimed at console users, so they didn't mind it, but anyone who actually played a proper RPG in their lives hated it. The only difference between Mass Effect and Fallout 4 is that the writing in Mass Effect is bearable enough, and Shepherd a good enough character that you generally don't mind that the game handles it's dialogue how it does. Fallout 4's writing and the flat characters of Nate/Nora are so bad that every single problem with the system becomes immediately apparent. I'm not going to pretend like Mass Effect handled the system any better, it is still an overrated franchise that ended on a wet fart and is barely an RPG in the first place, but at least writing is (usually) not something people complain about when they talk about it. At least unless we're talking about the endings to Mass Effect 3. There is another problem Fallout 4 has, no endings, and the shitty minute long "movie" that plays when you blow up Prydwen/Institute doesn't count.
I have the perfect strain of autism
Not surprising, considering your posts and the fact that you're a Fallout 3 baby. Good to know that shit game still receives some new players once in a while, even after it died out I guess

Vast majority of Powder Ganger content is cut, in fact I am surprised they made it into the game at all. One quick example I can think of is their one main quest in the NCRCF, originally you were supposed to repair the turrets damaged during the break-out with the use of repair or science to make the NCR assault easier, but that's been disabled. With how little content they have, any bit of cut content hurts, but I guess even removing them would take up more time than the devs had at that point. Shame about that crappy Burham Springs demo that came out a while back, I was hoping for more Powder Ganger content from it(since this is where the original Powder Gangers came from, the ones from Van Buren), but their involvement in that demo amounts to one quest that might as well be Ghost Town Gunfight 2.0, and it's broken just like everything else in that demo. Cursed faction that always gets screwed over by lack of content, if I ever seen one.

I think they are fine for what they are; just early game mooks before you start seeing the major factions. You see them all the way to Nipton and then whatever Vault it was that they moved to.

I do agree that the prison raid should've had some way of helping the Powder Gangers win (as someone mentioned by reinforcing the prison as originally intended). The only way the Powder Gangers can ever win that fight is if you drop a bunch of dynamite and guns and hope they pick them up when they begin fighting.

They are just convicts anyway, there is little to no reason to help them, especially considering they make you kill the guy who saved your life to start with.

I guess the raider factions had enough content but I wish they would've done something more interesting with the Scorpions/Jackals/Vipers. I literally forget they exist until I encounter them on the road.
New Vegas doesn't have any big lore on Jackals and Vipers(altho Scorpions would have had a cut questline, or at least been neutral NPCs you could interact with just like Powder Gangers), but New California mod has you covered. The raider faction there is a big, unified coalition not unlike the raiders in Nuka World DLC of Fallout 4, and what happens during the events of New California explains why they have been reduced to some squabbling vagabonds as of New Vegas, despite their supposed history that would rival that of The Khans. In reality, you never hear about either Jackals or Vipers because they got cut out of the original Fallout(with Vipers even having their own planned location that would have a giant fucking snake pit, surviving being thrown into it would give you the perk "Snakeater" for free) and despite having a pretty big part in Van Buren, that game got cut altogether. They just can't seem to catch a break, so their inclusion in New Vegas is confusing to everyone who isn't up and up on the lore of the franchise.

Literally not true. You're retarded.
Not an argument, would also explain your shit takes if you genuinely think Mass Effect is an "RPG" outside of the first one. Doesn't change that the horrible way Mass Effect handled it's dialogue led way to Emil thinking it was the right direction for Fallout 4, a similarly casualized game for the console audience(ie retards that never played a proper RPG in their lives).

I remember being incredibly confused then upset after beating fallout 4 the first time

Hey at least im honest, would you rather i lie and say i started with 1/2 then talk like i obviously didn't?

I think I could probably get into 76 if I didn't have to pay money for a private server. The live service cash shop stuff also pisses me off since I am the kinda faggot who is really susceptible to cosmetic temptations.

I am not going to waste time arguing with a retard. Retard.

Fallout 3 was supposed to have 200 endings according to Todd, but we were ungrateful for 2. He decided to punish us by giving us none in 4.

As a new player you would get more than enough atoms for the cosmetics you would want from challenges and battle passes.
Honestly the only things worth buying are the ones that automatically farm junk/rare mats for you.

Did we ever find out what he meant by this because unlike 99% of his lies this one is the most egregious and is seemingly impossible to do even if fallout 3 wasn't on consoles

I can only assume that you can MAYBE get 200 distinct variations of slides from small permutations but even then I can't imagine it could actually be triple digits. I don't even know what changes in slides in 3. Some of the slavery stuff? Megaton? Does Megaton even GET an ending slide?

I genuinely don't know, it reminds me of the NMS dev in interviews and he gets ahead of himself, so maybe it was just a posturing thing.

FO3 doesn't really have slides per se, just one video with different parts. Even with that, and only counting vanilla slides and not Broken Steel, yeah I don't even think it's possible to reach that high.

Megaton gets one, but only for detonating or disarming the bomb

Some videos appears if you done some side quests, mainly Agatha's Song.
Others just appear depending on your karma.

Thats always what i figured but the 200 number feels like another case of todd being his own hype man.

There are 18 total slides in 3, megaton only gets a slide if you nuke it with bad karma.

Sean gets a pass because he was forced into the role of "face of NMS" by sony compared to Todd who wanted to be Bethesda spokesperson of his own free will.
I don't think Todd lies to scam or screw over his fans i think he is his own biggest fan and doesn't know what should stay in the offices and what should be said on stage at E3/VGA/SGF

What would your dream Fallout panel be? I'd like to attend one with Tim Cain, Chris Avallone, and Josh Sawyer. I think that would be fun.

I'll give some Beth Answers: Inon Zur, Todd Howard, and Adam Adamowicz (RIP), no contest.

Maybe one of the DC level designers too, I always wanted to know just how expansive they had planned it to be considering the final version is only half as large what they had planned. Maybe some of the designers for 4, since I'd wager Fallout 4 is only half the game Bethesda planned it to be.

Tends to be the case with Bethesda, Morrowind, Daggerfall, etc. I would bet the only game that ended up being the closest to the plan was Skyrim, and it feels pretty close to full as a result.
