Been trying for a while, actually. Should probably try to make Jace an NPC before anything else, try to get him to look right again.

Legion or NCR, they never really treat you like you're one of them. You can do all sorts of shit for either side and they'll always treat you like a redheaded stepchild.

The NCR is decent enough if you help them out. They just kind of treat you like an outsider. The Legion I wouldn't doubt is like that.

As a red headed step child I fully endorse this message.
I mean you are better than a battalion of NCR troopers and rangers and all they do is just toss you a medal and tell you to get lost in the end. And for playing the legion as a woman if I remember correctly didn't change much, they will still take your help and complain about it. The only thing about them is that you can't do gladiator fights as a woman.
At least the King knows the most powerful person in the wasteland when he sees them and allows you to join his crew.

Well they both use you for their own ends. But during the ending the player gets a medal from the NCR and the Legion puts your face on a coin

This is a good point. Essentially, you have three puppet options and one in which you're John Galt. The King is no Beatle, but I like his style.

I replayed it again since my saves got corrupted. Long story short, Cottonwood Cove is now Dead Legion Storage.
