The longer this goes on the worse the PR is going to get. An apology for being greedy and making it free to play would be the best course of action but they'd never do it.

I imagine that that's probably just things left over from the last time Bethesda messed with the engine which was probably Skyrim Special Edition.

Yeah, no surprise there. You can find a RadiationMarker reference and some fragments of VATS code in Skyrim Special Edition, and all the older games had similar stuff, with Fallout 3 having some Oblivion references in the editor as well.

Previously, I was looking forward to this game. Now, I'm looking forward to see how much it'll blow up in Bethesda's collective face.
Absolutely not disappointed!

Also, congratulations to FO76 for being ranked lower than the previous worst Fallout game!

I'm just glad that Fallout 3 fixed Oblivion's ugly baby faces.

Something strange that baffled the hell out of me was seeing the strange achievement unlock ratio between leaving Vault 76 (the first thing you do) to finishing 5 Challenges, something that unlock WHEN you leave the vault.
There shouldn't be a 10% difference between exiting the Vault and killing radroaches.

EDIT: This came bundled with my new Xbox, so I didn't pay money for it.

Told you guys the shills would push it into average territory.
55 would be average if Fallout 76 were a movie but it is a video game, and the metric the "games journalists" have agreed on uses 75 as average.

http://www.classlawdc.com/2018/11/26/bethesda-game-studios-deceptive-trade-practices-investigation/

Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is currently investigating Bethesda Game Studios for releasing a heavily-glitched game, Fallout 76, and refusing to issue refunds for PC purchasers of the game who found it to be unplayable because of its technical problems. While minor bugs and glitches are expected with the release of most new games, Fallout 76 launched with a 56GB patch that has proven to be but a starting point for the game’s problems. Gamers who have tried to receive a refund because of the game’s myriad glitches have been unable to do so since they downloaded the game, leaving them to deal with an unplayable experience until patches bring it back to a playable state.

Have You Tried to Receive a Refund from Your Fallout 76 Purchase?

Judging by the bottom achievement, it also tells us that 30% of people who bought the game didn't even finish the introductory tutorial section and leave the vault

It’s like I’m watching the 1.0 launch of Final Fantasy 14 all over again. This is almost an exact replica of what went down with that game.

As the saying goes those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.
