This is all because of the Enclave quest:

wrong, odinsword is the writer of the feet thing, here are records a friend posted from questioning him:View attachment 1875978View attachment 1876033
You could've said, "Damn, my ankles are gonna be cracked after this." No, instead you bring up in a straightforward manner that her feet will smell awful which is highly coincidental considering every other bit of her character. You could've even cut the line down to just "Damn, I'm dreading taking off my boots."

"I am tired of these jokes about my shitty fetish writing, the first such incident occurred in 2014 when..."

I’ve noticed a trend with big mods like these; it always assumes the courier is a famous badass and is the center of the world. The Courier was only ever important because House needed someone to get the Chip and he was the closest guy. Everyone’s fascination with the Courier stems from House taking a shine to him, and even then the dick-sucking is always limited to “you’re the most able guy, if it works out we share the glory, if you fuck up it’s on you”. Ulysses was the only character who really did the ego-boosting shit. The courier is just some guy, stop writing stories where he’s an ubermensch.

Lonesome Road was kinda capeshitty (or maybe it was inevitable that was the way autists would take it), Ulysses and the Courier was built up as some fated epic showdown of epicness. Because they already had an epic fateful backstory of epicness that set them up for an epic clash of fate, you just know both these guys are so fucking epic!

Ulysses is also Chris Avellone's Coldsteel the Hedgeheg character. He was originally meant to be a companion in the base game, but got cut because Chris couldn't stop writing dialogue for the character and the content became so big that it became impossible to implement

I've never heard or read any scenario where someone is complaining about the smell of their feet after a long hike or what have you. Talking about your feet 'killing you', or 'your dogs are barking', and another three or four others that are all focused on the fact that it's strenuous on your muscles. Hell if they had a brain in their skull they'd have just had the character complain their socks are a mess and need drying. It would at least be plausible instead of just some straight up 'PHEW MY STIIIINKY FEEEEEET'.

That isn't what LR is trying to do.
It's supposed to confront you about the choices you make via Ulysses and no matter the choice it leads to some problems.

It's the same shtick Avellone has done for decades.

And Ulysses forcing you to confront your choices is an epic showdown. LR was trying to create an epic moral conflict and it did, but autists understood it in the shallowest way possible by turning Ulysses and the Courier into mythic heroes (or anti-heroes) when they're not intended to be.

So, I take it this thing is the equivalent to Brotherhood of Steel for Fallout mods?

Between all the fetish bullshit, lore defilement (talking snakes and a flying aircraft carrier in fucking Portland?), wildly inconsistent tone, unnecessary hostility towards the community (just say that the Enclave would be too big of an undertaking, there's no need to be holier-than-thou dickheads), and now the bombshell that at least one of the developers is a pedophile, I think Bethesda can rest easy at no longer being a lightning rod for the Fallout fanbase.

Even Hunt Down the Freeman had more dignity than this, at least its developers kept their dirty shit to themselves.
