You know how to get Chris and the other adult autists completely disinterested in the show? Make them all boy ponies instead and instantly the fandom disappears.

lolno it will just attract shota fans which are far worse.

The main characters are all colourful, cute, generic and uncomplicated. And female. Of course Chris obsesses over it.

Is it autism that makes these special individuals search for social and philosophical messages deeply obfuscated within a television show about talking cartoon ponies manufactured for 8 year old girls? Or is it just a lack of meaning in their lives?
Call me a sperg or a neckbeard, but I think every work has some sort of ideology or universal truth to it. Even Sonichu or MLP.

And yes, you aren't halluciating, the pony has the Sonichu medal too.
But there's only one TRUE and ORIGINAL medallion... does this mean Cheroki-Chan is dead in the future, or was Crystal's mother a beautiful white pony named Blanca?
.. Why does everything have to be somehow be related to sexuality with Chris?
Because he's lonely and horny and doesn't get that not everyone is as lonely and horny as him. He also seems to have this weird blind spot about what's appropriate for kids, hence the lengthy detour in Sonichu while he explained how the titular hedgehog's cock works.

This is true, although it is very, very, very easy for people to try deeper meanings in media to better support their own ideals and only end up deluding themselves and sometimes others into thinking it means something.

I remember back when I was in college I had to read an essay from Robert Frost about poetry, and he used a term called "sunset raving" in which an author would go on and on about a settng sun instead of just saying "the sun is setting." This is pretty much what I see with Chris' deep thought moment here as well as with a lot of the mentality of various SJWs, MRAs and so on: they seem unable or at least unwilling to just say "Oh I like this," or "I don't like this." They try to surgically analyze every little portion of the body to find some greater understanding, but rarely are they ever surgeons, and the end product is a bunch of unrecognizable, philosophized hamburger with their own stamps and scribbled notes pontificating over pulverized meat.

TL;DR - It's a fucking flash cartoon about pastel-colored ponies.

I'd hazard that it's this particular section of the trailer Chris was talking about:

I guess he saw the prominent use of the = sign, and the flamboyant pastel horses, and his simple mind went to "LGBT equality".
Thanks for that. There was no way in hell I was going to watch 5 seconds of that thing, never mind 47 seconds, just to work out what the fuck Chris was babbling on about. To say nothing of corrupting my youtube recommends… Your self sacrifice is appreciated.

Oh yeah, absolutely. It's not the 'tism, but paranoia. Everything is connect. Everything relates to something about me.
Also narcissistic hubris. Chris really does believe the whole world is The Chris Chandler Show, and he is the main character around which it all revolves. Nothing can mean anything unless it somehow relates to Chris and his sad little life. That's what he's doing here.

However, until someone shows me a pony with blue arms I think we can safely assume the show has absolutely nothing to do with Chris, and the creators sensibly prefer to keep things that way.

I'm getting a real "Stepford" vibe off of them so here's my theory as to what it's going to be all about:
I'm getting a real "life is too short to waste any on this" vibe off it. Seriously, why are people analyzing this cartoon? No offense, but were here to discuss creepy Chris Chandler, not some half hour toy commercial for little girls.

Not really.

The cross eyed pony was actually…
Again, no offense, but I think some people here know way more about this show than is probably good for them.

Twilight still has wings... pass
'kay… I'll bite. The fuck does crappy vampire cliterature have to do with this?

When I was watching Dr. Seuss with my little cousins I was shocked to see that his cartoons had political messages in them (i.e - Snitch/Segregation, Zax/Korea & Vietnam, Horton/Hiroshima, etc). It was pretty fun going through my old Seuss books, that I got when I was 4, and try find the references to real life.
Check out his war cartoons some time. Ted Geisel was always political, very astute, and never, ever produced anything solely for children. He was one of the few who knew early on that we were eventually going to have to deal with Hitler and crew, and he made no bones about it.

Twilight is the name of the main character of the show, voiced by a VA that has openly said that Chris is a bad person and that she hopes she never meets him. It was when she was joking about "trolling" and Chris sperged out and called her out for supporting harassment.
